Hey Sparky66. Thanks for your great mods! This one inspired me to come up with a few ideas about private traffic in the game that I started a thread about. There are more suggestions there as well so do come and join us here . :D

Thrown to the desktop, without error. Spent a few days, shoveling all the fashion to find out what kind of fashion this bug. It turned out - your mod. Here's the error:

error loading dds file: res / textures / models / vehicle / car / xxx.dds
res / textures / models / vehicle / car / xxx.dds not in file cache!

Ok, I've reuploaded the road mod. I'm not sure what happened, it deleted itself when it was supposed to update. Still haven't solved the problem of all roads being availiable in both Europe and USA though, I'm still looking into it.

I am getting this message (as of three seconds ago):

2 resource file(s) are missing:
res/config/street/usa/country_new_medium.lua
res/config/street/usa/station_new_small.lua

This error is usually caused by modding. In some cases, existing save games cannot be loaded with a modified game version, since resources have been deleted or modified.

I removed the Street mod from the game save and the game will still load :-(

Plz, add the mod back to steam, and at least give us a chance to change the roads before we remove it

you can remove the road mod from the save game and have it load
but the question remains why delete the road mod in the first place?

Hello Sparky! Why did you delete the Streetmod for Transportfever? All my saved games does not start any more.
Please put the streetmod back here on steam

Since today the game crashes when i start playing with the error in file: res/models/mesh/vehicle/car/ford_fordor_1934/lod_2_ford_fordor_1934.msh
the same error also with the other cars...
what can i do ?

This only affects the default vehciles as the top speed of each car is contained within it's own configuration file.

Not necessarily. Free movement of traffic can actually help stimulate town growth, which can produce more passengers for your lines and buyers for goods.

The new top speeds allow cars to actually travel at the speeds shown when building the roads, and means they are less likely to obstruct your vehicles.

I've tested it in a few save games and there is no big noticeable effect on profitability of lines, but it does help intercity roads flow better.

So more peaple are going to take the car over the train/bus because there are allowed to go faster on highways right?
