@Anakin_003 that's why they're all asking for an update you special little boy. The more people talk about it the likelier it is someone will take up the mantle and remake the mod.

To all these people asking for an update:
Are you all blind, the Mod's authors haven't been around at all for the last 950 days, It is likely this mod will never get updated but there is a possibility someone will remake it (very low possibility)

We need an update. I havent even had a chance to play it yet because the game crashes on start with it enabled, heard it was good though.

Sorry for the late replies. I had a very busy Chrismas and New Years with lots of family and friends coming over and some Holiday work. What little time I did have I spent working on the main version of the mod trying to get our custom pop economics system up and running.(as well as a whole battle of the classes, which can be seen in the Kotor video games)(I just need to fix a few bugs and its finished) But since the new Paradox Planned Update will change pops drastically right now i've put that part of the project on hold and I plan on fixing some of the glaring bugs here.

we did consider this however the map becomes rather difficult to play with some of our systems over lapping others making it rather annoying to play. Because of how the star height generation is coded I can't restrict it to our maps only.

@Far Far Away Mod Team I disabled all my other mods to see if it was an incompatibility, but the vast majority of vanilla portraits were still absent. Maybe there should be a separate "Star Wars" category?

@Gagflex Has to be a different mod or just glitch with the new update. I have the same issue and had Union, Kingdom, Confederacy, Empire, Republic all in one game. Still haven't figured out what it is but it isn't this mod as I don't have it installed.

@Gagflex we haven't edited any files related to Empire name generation.

Our species names lists only affect leaders, rulers, ships, spacestations, fleets, and army names.

As far as i'm aware. Empire names are dictated using Government Types. The Ethics and Government mod, might be your issue. However it could just be dumb luck.

I've had to disable this, because there are so many broken namelists for me. If I play a game with it enabled I end up with lots of empires called "Empire" or "Confederation" because the name wasn't properly generated.

If it helps, I'm using ethics and government rebuild, and Alphamod. I haven't had this issue with any other namelists before.

@bigj117 tbh i'm not sure. I don't have the DLC to test, but it should allow all end game crisises(and there shouldn't be any issues with the DLC).

Right now there aren't any Fallen Empires on the map.(So the war in heaven can't occur)


If its not working let me know and i'll see what I can do to fix it. In the mean time the only solution would be to use a randomly generated map and just enjoy using the species portraits, music, and flags. If their is an issue

I've been enjoying the mod lot, great job! Does it allow Leviathans or Independent factions from the DLC to spawn? Been expanding my empire for a while and just haven't encountered any.

I have just updated the mod to version 1.4 of Stellaris. For a full list of changes please check the change log, but this update adds 4 new species and also fixes several bugs. It shouldn't not break any saves. However if there are issues let me know and I will see what I can do.

@There are currently 10 diffrent spawn locations. The current custom nations aren't currently linked to their proper spawn locations. They will be as of the next update.

@Last Leviathan I personally appreciate all the hard work you have done on your mod. You are updating it every day and responding to everyone that offers feedback. You obviousl love what you do and it really shows. I enjoyed and will continue to support your Galaxy Divided full conversion mod. You set a phenomenal standard for mod work effort and consistancy that shoulld be embraced by all modders.

Wanted to congratulate you guys on releasing the basic portion, hope all goes well.

As for the comments about copying and such, originally the SFFA mod actually inspired my own when I had started learning modding. They've had trouble with original team members going AWOL which I would speculate caused the delay, but I can't speak for them or the team. That being said, the more Star Wars mods the better. Each of us have different visions and each mod appeals to different people.

In our Total Conversion mod we have the Force setup, however this version doesn't because we want to minimise compatiblity errors with other mods.

No its not really a copy. Yes its the same Universe. For example my Galaxy is smaller and more accuate. His is Larger.

There is nothing stopping you from creating a few unique species with our mod and putting them in the Galaxy Divided mod for the ultmate Star Wars experence for your next playthrough.

@clamcg yeah it is basically a copy with fewer features, and if you follow the thread to the paradox forums, it looks like most of the team is inactive. We dont need a whole bunch of half finished full conversion mods, we need one really good completed full conversion mod. So I cant feel good about supporting this obvious lacksidasical effort.

Im more concerned about my current mods because as far as i can tell someone has already done something like this throught multiple mods and im afraid i wont get the same expieriance if i switch to this, so im gonna hold off playing this mod for now until after i finish my current game.

totally excited to have some more Star Wars is my games but the portraits are not heinlein compatable. base species are missing or replaced and the molluscoid category is replaced with an aquatic category. This can be fixed by putting all the portraits under a new "Star Wars" category instead.

it also replaces the loading screens and home screens for anyone that is concerned with that.
