Report a translation problem
Underside of the slide is partially un-modelled (for polycount reasons) and I had underestimated the area that needs to be visible during animation.
I realised the mistake after animating the thing, when I noticed that if the slide goes all the way back players could see the parts of the slide that don't have any rendered faces at all.
So, moving the slide slightly forward was at the time sort of emergency fix I simply forgot :D
But, yeah. I'll see what I can do about it.
Reload animations actually use the heel release (sort of. It could be more clear, I admit). I didn't actually model the release lever (for polycount reasons), but both reload animations start with character hands grabbing the mag and manually pulling it out.
The slide. Yeah, I need to move the slide back more.

Also, the slide in your animation doesn't go all the way back like it should: note the small cutout on the slide - the slide release lever should rise up and hold the slide by this cutout.

To the latter, answer is yes, I did model the mag too. How so?
Did you model the extended magazine as well ?
Combining with this custom sound just makes this just... PERFECT!
