Great map and well done for creating. I've not managed to turn a profit on it yet but still learning this game. Thanks for all your hard work :)

+1 to the note from @wabbithunta!

Nice map but there's a few important Lochs missing and these run from Oban to Inverness. These stretches of water basically divide Scotland along The Great Glen faultline.
In English that means Loch Linhhe from Oban to Fort William and Loch Lochy and Loch Ness which run between Fort William and Inverness.
Any chance of this map being remade with these in them?
A stretch of water that can be used as a water transport network would be handy indeed along this terrain. It's a huge landscape [I've been there a few times] and seeing no waterway on this map is [to me at least] a letdown.

Thanks everyone for your comments so far!

@donaldwal I'll try and add them when I get the time. Sometimes the game struggles to generate towns (and particularly the linking roads) in/near mountainous areas but I'll do my best!

@[MAZA]Dr.Tezla When I have time I might try and write a little guide on how to do this. First of all you need a heightmap, which can be generated using a tool by NASA (I don't have the link right now, but you can Google it fairly easily). Once you've done that, there's a good tool online for uploading the heightmap and placing towns/industries manually here [transportfevermods.com].

@Dj Spazzy I might add Arbroath in an update, since there's a convenient space where it should be! I just want to be cautious about overcrowding the map.

Awesome map. You couldn't add Kyle of Lochalsh could you? I used to live their years ago.
And maybe add Fort William & Mallaig too while your at it?

Love the map. Is it the largest map size?

Really nice map! I have even been in Scotland once! (Last year; Edinburgh 2 times, Inverness and Stirling once.)
