The small sheild generators will fit into any saturation chamber, but not the large generators. I suggest as a temporary solution to take a ore processing unit and empty it out replacing the refineries with the large sheild generators if that suits your fancy.

You can supposedly put those in the Saturation Chambers, although I have never used this mod before.

i managed to sort it but i have to delete the light at the endtrance to the doorways and put a block in there for me to aim at to place the next moduler unit but nonew the less great work :D

Try practicing with some hand placed block blobs. Just put some blocks in free space and try playing with it with copy/paste and tell me what happens.

It can be difficult, but make sure when you are pasting that your cursor is on the grid you want to connect to.

Just before you get to far I would like to request a small change to every piece. Just a simple merge block at the top so you can pull the station apart and change the layout or even have a builder somewhere else that you can build a module and then just attach it to the station. Thanks

Actually an empty room would be good, because it could be filled with anything from sheilds, to extra storage, to refineries, to... well you get the point.

can you create a empty room where you can fit the nanite factorys and large shield gens (both are mods) inside? not that both fit at one room inside but just that u know the size for em .. shields and nanite can be upgraded so would be nice if u include the space for it .. i love ur station ^.^

I just thought of an alternetive to that. A sort of escape cap. it would be a small cap that could disconect from the station at a moments notice and rapidly escape in an emergency situation and sustain 1 to <5 people while still looking fairly normal from an outide standpoint.

You should create a specificly designed shuttle which is made to connect with one of these stations. That way you dont have a random out of place looking shuttle, and it could also double as a sort of 'jump module' that was mentioned several pages back as well as helping to boost the stations thruster pack.

Nothing much to go for as of right now. I don't think I will be doing any serious uploads this week. I do, however, have two new stair pieces ready, but they were made as replacements to the current stair pieces. The new stair pieces are pretty much identical to Edens M14 and M15 but they are wider by 3. The question is; should these new stairs replace the old stairs, or should they be new but seperate pieces? Let me know.

I suggest a foundation lined with periodic merge blocks. If you want to be able to leave an atmosphere with the base then you will have to install some bigger thrusters.

another idea Sir Andrew, is building it on a lake of ice like i plan on doing, that way your floor is always flat without having any ridges or hills in the way of your build, and as to the grav tower, i will be leaving it in place im thinking of having the base able to take off if needed in some form or another or at least part of the base for trasport wether it be just on the planet or too and from the planet (not sure yet on that one) love the base builds though :)

Well I'm not sure if I want to make an actual piece like that because the variable is too... random. I don't want to make a ground stair because I don't know how high off the ground someone is or how long of a stair they will need. If you need a stair going from the base to the ground I am going to have to recommend you build it yourself.

that makes me think, landing cap. its a simple cap with landing gears and a staircase to get down from your landed station onto the ground

They should work fully on a celestial body granted they are attached to the ground. Doing so will also make the Grav Tower obsolete so keep that in mind as you will not need any stabilizers of any kind, just supports.

Conveyors should all be set up to work. You should be able to print pieces in survival with a projector and proper allignment. Let me know if something doesnt work.

Here is a turret module and and a hydrogen cap, you can go super fast with this instead "for now", tomorrox.

M11 and M12 have also been updated to current standards.
