Most of the more recent mods use the engine to determine values now, from what I saw anyway, there was a lot of early mods that defined their own and unbalanced the game. I can't say if it is or not though, haven't played the game for some time tbh.

Mod is not working now? For example, vehicle from mod and vanilla MAN with the same capacity: https://i.imgur.com/pOEL3u3.png
Or in this case "not applicable"?

I've been using this mod for every single playthrough since I first subscribed 8 months ago. I will not play without! Great work!

@Bazinga! - are you able to change the mod load order these days? I haven't checked / played for a while (hoping for better late game performance, eventually) if you can, perhaps try that.

Bug? --> I have activated "No costs" -> With your Mod I get charged $ when I buy Trains or carriage. Tracks and Streets dont get charged.

I haven't deleted any of my mods, however I have made private the DMA mods that I shared on behalf of the author, since he requested they be removed.

Some more info here:

FX2K, why did you delete your mods before?

I will take a look and see if I can figure anything out, was ok for me a moment ago too.

Have a look at stdout / stderr.txt files in
...\Steam\userdata\<yourID>\446800\local\crash_dump

May help

it close by windows without an error message:/
𝓕𝔁  [author] 25 Dec, 2016 @ 1:54pm
@DerZwergHD - what error do you get?

I have been using this since I released it, with loads of other mods and no issues, chances are its a compatibility issue with another mod, the error may help to figure it out.

game crashes at start up with this mod installed :/

@alphaprior - yeah, I agree. Problem is, if they set "realistic" figures, the costs are going to inflate, but IMO its better than it being a major cheat, i.e 1 train costing next nothing but being 100x better than anything else available.
alphaprior 27 Nov, 2016 @ 6:04am
Well I tried it, but then I saw some huge jumps for mainanance costs for example DB 250 was at 506k and went to 2.25m. Sure it was to cheap at 506k but vanilla cost system is too expensive and unrealistic sometimes.
Best option would be if modders would use realistic and game wise values.

@Vladimirov - Done, let me know if you notice any other oddities ;)
Vladimirov 22 Nov, 2016 @ 1:08pm
thanks
𝓕𝔁  [author] 22 Nov, 2016 @ 1:06pm
@Vladimirov - I'm looking at it now, will fix / update shortly.
Herrbear 22 Nov, 2016 @ 12:47pm
Thank you FX2K
Vladimirov 22 Nov, 2016 @ 12:46pm
i notice one wierd thing
when i install this mod i notice that all trafficlights and stops for busses are free
𝓕𝔁  [author] 22 Nov, 2016 @ 12:29pm
@Herrbear - all vehicles that have static cost/maintenance set.
Herrbear 22 Nov, 2016 @ 10:53am
Thank you for this mod. Does it only work on trains or all vehicles?
Diedel 22 Nov, 2016 @ 10:00am
Yeah, i tried my luck at the in-game formula too. I tried to start with the usa starter loco with all stats at 1, but that was far more expensive than a version at 100 km/h, so i gave up for now.
𝓕𝔁  [author] 22 Nov, 2016 @ 9:02am
@puschasche - No formula, other than the one built into the game, although I have been trying to obtain the formula used by the game, no joy so far.

This essentially sets any modded vehicles that have a static value for costs to -1 so the engine takes over.
puschasche 22 Nov, 2016 @ 8:58am
which formula use your script?
𝓕𝔁  [author] 22 Nov, 2016 @ 7:54am
@Droknar - yeah, thats the point of this mod. If you look at the example, the chosen vehicle mod doesn't scale to match, therefore becomes rather over-powered in that it becomes a lot cheaper overall than those which scale.

Compare the top left, to bottom left with x2 capacity - cost and maintenance is the same.
Now compare top right to bottom right with x2 capacity - cost and maintenance is now balanced appropriately
Droknar 22 Nov, 2016 @ 7:49am
I haven't found a mod that increases capacity and keeps the cost balance low. The cost always scales with capacity and speed.
𝓕𝔁  [author] 22 Nov, 2016 @ 7:31am
Yeah, quite a lot of mods use the auto settings, but there are still a few which don't ;)
Jones 22 Nov, 2016 @ 7:26am
Already using auto balanced costs with my mods but this is useful for mods that doesn't, thanks!
Baleur 22 Nov, 2016 @ 6:57am
Brilliant
