So i was doing a retaliaition mission and when ever Genji was near a person the person wouldnt run to the ship or regesture as a saved person. I dont know if it ws designed that way or if its a glitch

Mobilty doesn't directly translate to tiles, 1 mobility is equal to 1 meter in the unreal engine, while a tile is 1.5 meters, so 13 mobility would give around 8.6 tiles, and the game seems to round down when doing blue movement only.

@RealityMachina there seems to be a problem with the interaction with Genji's Cybernetic Agility perk and his base movement with what's processed in game. The in game character is running around with only 7-8 blue movement tiles while his base is 12 (-1 for the Odachi), and +2 from the passive perk for a total of 13 mobility. Any idea what's happened with that?

hey people :) i'm just wandering, is it possible to create similar missions for Van Doorn, Beaglerush and Sid Meier? In some apropriate locations and what'n'not.. I know they cheat, but to be honest that Genji here isn't that ordinary soldier also, right?

Decoy beacon is invisible for me too.

The mission spawned, but the beacon wasn't in the level. I was at the right part of the map, indicated, but couldn't find it. Also the beacon was supposedly outside the ship, no idea what was going on there. That aside, it worked fine.

I think I've found a bug. Genji took out everyone in a single turn and everyone is supposedly still concealed. This is what I think is the root of the problem. As a result, a distress beacon was called by no one, it's in a ditch instead of in the ship, it's invisible and uninteractable (only the waypoint is there but I can step into the tile).
Playing with Long War.

EDIT 1: Also the "naturalize all enemies" is not ticked off even though everyone is dead since the aliens turn just quickly passed over.
Might be a bug at the game itself...

EDIT 2: Well the renforcements were a joke and mission was a success. Too bad I didn't take all the weakest troops to level them up by letting them look at Genji and another shinobi do 90% of the work.

I think the no spawning enemies may be caused by 2x more enemies. I mean I had same problem with DLC missions when I ahd this mod

Excellent mod, thanks. Only problem I have is that there are never any enemies spawning with the mission. Is this supposed to be the way it works? I get Genji ok.

Hey, today during another fight with aliens Genji deflected ~5-7 shots (per one turn) is it how it suppose to work? From description it seems it has to deflect only first two and then recieve damage...

The Genji armor got equipped on one of my best soldiers and has ruined it. Uninstalling the mod and reloading until that is fixed.

i'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but i've noticed that if you use deflection (my encounters have been with dragon deflection) to reflect a chryssalid melee attack genji still gets poisoned.

Oh, I see; I guess I have to build the other dragonblade upgrade I guess. The one I equip him with has to be the vanilla genji sword from genji's blade mod.

Is Genji supposed to lose his dragonblade ability by the second mission, or is there something wrong? I thought it was a free colonel ability to deal with the reinforcements you can't stop, but at colonel still no dragonblade ability.

It does work with long war, and the console command did spawn the mission for me. And it had enemies. Hurray!

Tried SpawnGenjiMission in my current game. It works, but the UFO landing mission has 0 enemys in the map.

@king of Things Alright, so SpawnGenjiMission *should* give you a working mission that takes you straight to squad select. If that doesn't work, then AddGenjiToCrew should add Genji directly to the roster.

@King Of Thing Shit I just realized a problem with what I suggested, it would spawn the mission with a normal mission gamestate, which prevents it from working.

Like I'll try to mod in a proper exec function so you can spawn a working version. (Along with one to just spawn Genji directly.)

At this point, I'd be happy just to be able to console him in this campaign until I can fix this somehow. It must be a mod conflict on my end right?? But until I get it figured, is it possible to co sole him into the armory?

Well regenerating the entire config folder didn't fix the initial problem, and the console command still just puts a non selectable mission icon on the Geoscape.

The Prodigal Brother icon is there too, it just doesn't do anything when it's clicked. Or when I hit enter on it or near the spaceship. I am tentatively calling this progress.

Well, out of curiosity, mostly because to regenerate my ini again I have to pack my desktop and move it to use the Internet somewhere, I tried it again after running through and older save. Now there is a little non interactive UFO sitting on the Geoscape.

...really? Does the same occur if you replace Reward_Intel with Reward_None?

If so, it might be an XComMissions.ini issue then. Should be fixed if you go to Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config, and delete XComMissions.ini to force the game to regenerate it.

Though sometimes best practice is to wipe the whole folder completely to make sure the game doesn't leave anything out, or to use another method detailed here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3971445-partial-solution-to-configini-merging-issues/ to do the same thing if you're using the alternative mod launcher.

Though as something else to check, if you have the dev console enabled, try typing "spawnmission MissionSource_GenjiRaid Reward_Intel", see if that spawns the mission on the Geoscape.
