Until I figure out how to update this mod, you will have to use this updated version:

I once again, just like in the last version, have problems updating the mod. Steam Workshop is a piece of shit.
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 1:40am

Hi, what is the font that you're using? Great little mod!
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 10 Apr, 2017 @ 9:19am
After serveral tries I could finally upload the update to 1.20 for this mod. I only changed the new loading screen, which is probably Dowager Xiaozhuang, but I am not certain, so please tell me if I am wrong. Have fun!
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 8 Apr, 2017 @ 8:33am
@Deus Vult
I am currently trying to update the mod but for some reasons it fails. Maybe I will have to upload it as new mod. Also you can continue using the current version, it will still work without problems, even though the launcher may claims otherwise.
Jeb! 8 Apr, 2017 @ 8:12am
Any chance of doin a update?
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 12 Feb, 2017 @ 3:20pm
@s3 That is a great idea that I will consider when I revise the mod at some point in the future!
< blank > 12 Feb, 2017 @ 12:19pm
Thanks for putting this mod together! I love the idea, although in its current form it's impossible for me to finish reading the info during the loading time (without downgrading my rig, anyway), let alone genuinely absorb any of it.

It would be much easier to absorb at least a point or two each time if the giant paragraph were split into several mini-paragraphs (almost like bullet points), each containing one key takeaway and separated by an empty line to allow faster visual processing. If players can efficiently absorb one or two key points every time the loading screen flashes, eventually they'll absorb all of them.

and they say video games don't teach you anything. I'm sorry what was that? XD :steammocking:

I can be much more of a history nerd now. 10/10 great mod
mef_696 3 Jan, 2017 @ 1:18pm
Hi Saad Maan, great mod! I really like your ideaas, as especially on slower rigs where the game does take a while to load, it can be pretty boring just looking at empty images but thanks to your mod, no more! :D

Btw, would it be okay for you if I added your mod to a larger mod of mine (hasn't been published yet) which adds new countries, events, etc.? Naturally, I would include a full reference to you as the author of the screens, with an url to your workshop in credits. :)
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 28 Dec, 2016 @ 9:26am
@Alexander You're welcome :)
Alexander 28 Dec, 2016 @ 8:03am
Thanks great mod by the way
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 28 Dec, 2016 @ 7:11am
@Alexander Ironman compatible means that you can earn achievements.
Alexander 28 Dec, 2016 @ 7:09am
Can one earn achievements with this mod? (it says ironman compatible but I don't know if that's the same thing as earning achievements)
Civmaster54 11 Dec, 2016 @ 4:35pm
ah ok. thougth that you did the math wrong.
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 11 Dec, 2016 @ 4:13pm
@Civmaster54
He reigned from the 4th April 1588 to the 28 February 1648, which is 59 years, 10 months and 25 days long.
Civmaster54 11 Dec, 2016 @ 3:38pm
hey on the Christian IV you did the math wrong it says 1588-1548 59 years regin, but its really 60 years regin.
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 3 Dec, 2016 @ 8:11am
@B/Ananas It's normal since I adjusted this for 1920x1080. I will probably change it when I revise the design in general.
Mugen 3 Dec, 2016 @ 8:09am
I'm using a laptop so yea. Would be nice if you could be considerate of users with this problem.
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 3 Dec, 2016 @ 7:49am
@B/Ananas Do you have a screen ratio that is not 16:9 and/or lower than 1920x1080?
Mugen 3 Dec, 2016 @ 7:28am
I understand and respect you disagreeing. Actually I have to say it's pretty okay, after I downloaded it. Althought there is another thing bugging me... The engine logo is covering some text in the left upper corner. But as I see someone else already pointed that out.
Otherwise this mod is great and has much potential for the future! thumbs up.
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 3 Dec, 2016 @ 6:20am
@BlackWolf9988 There are 17.
@RedWolf I do not plan to add any outside the vanilla ones.
@m1a1carbine Hmm, makes sense since the size of the gear itself (it's added by the game and not included in the image file) does not change. I guess so far this mod only works properly with 1080p screens.
@ B/Ananas I disagree.
@Lenjivac :)
lenji 3 Dec, 2016 @ 3:45am
+1 just because of Roki Vulovic on your avatar ;)
Mugen 2 Dec, 2016 @ 5:22am
the font is a bit small...
CCaRBiNG 2 Dec, 2016 @ 12:44am
Nice, Informative addon for someone attracted to this era.

but technically, that clautzewitz gear, covered the text, ruined my expectations.
perhaps you could put the text to middle of screen or erase out that gear icon.

(I'm using 16:9, but laptop modified 1366×768 resolution.)

Frederick William "the Great Elector", Elector of Brandenburg
\/
Frederick III, Elector of Brandenburg > Frederick I, King in Prussia
\/
Frederick William I "the Soldier King", King in Prussia
\/
Frederick II "the Great", King in Prussia > Frederick II, King of Prussia (after annexing West Prussia in 1772)
\/
Frederick William II, King of Prussia (he was Frederick the Great's nephew, because Frederick the Great had no children)
\/
Frederick William III, King of Prussia

It took me a little while to work it out when I was first learning. All of these Fredericks are confusing. It's important to remember that the William means something. If King Frederick William I had been just Frederick, he would have been Frederick II, and Frederick the Great would be Frederick III.

i thought they were just random people lulz
harlech 29 Nov, 2016 @ 2:47pm
Feature request: Can you do 21:9 loading screens? I just got a 3440x1440 screen and with the current loading screens some of the top and bottom of the image are cut off. If you can even just do a 21:9 image that has got the 16:9 image with black bars on the side that would be great.
Steee 29 Nov, 2016 @ 1:29pm
wasnt fredrick the great fredrick the III?
humbleacadie 29 Nov, 2016 @ 12:13pm
Great. Just add a few more and it would be perfect
Bolololo 29 Nov, 2016 @ 11:54am

tiefkühlPizza  [author] 28 Nov, 2016 @ 1:58pm
@harlech Haha, too bad! You can rate this mod positive, if you haven't done so already. It's nice to read supportive comments.
harlech 28 Nov, 2016 @ 1:52pm
Thatnks for updating!
I'd send you cake but I can't seem to get it to fit in the email slot.
tiefkühlPizza  [author] 28 Nov, 2016 @ 1:50pm
Phew, now that the graphical errors are fixed there should be way less updates.
