ran this one, it worked ok. some issues i ran into was when went to the antique sites, and set it. it locked me into a loop of what i wanted, no matter which i picked, it didnt go away, also it wouldnt let me advance my religion with prophits. once i had a religion that was it.

Has stopped working for me. Reinstalled Civ and re-downloaded mod but still no go. I select it as the Civilisation to use for a new game but when the game runs it's a different civilisation. Any ideas or tips welcomed. Thanks

It has served me well to stay clear of Civ mods that have brief mentions of bugs in the Comments sections. They will likely break your game (learned the hard way). But it's only fair to turn it around: I've played with this mod forever and with all kinds of set-ups (Community Balance Patch, etc). Never had a problem. Recommend.

Odd choice of cities as Dublin was viking and belfast was non excistant when Baru was leading. Also the random mix of Irish and English is offputting. Tallaght is a suburb of Dublin.

Disabled all mods except Ireland and started a new game. Kern and Longswordsman still missing from tech tree.

The Kern nor the Longswordmen are working for Ireland. I have Empire of Byzantium,Khazar,Kingdom of England,Norway, and Scotland mods going as well.

Is it just me or is his right arm really small?

You're way off mate.
Anglo-Saxon kingdoms were centered in modern England and Eastern Scotland only.
Ireland, most of Scotland, The Isle of Man, and Wales, were not Anglo-Saxon countries.
The "Celtic" nations (broad inacurate term as it may be) were Ireland, Scotland, Man, Wales, Cornwall, and Britanny.
Within them there were two distinct groups, the Gaels (Ireland, Scotland, and Man), and the Brythonic (Wales, Cornwall, and Brittany).
In 1066 The Normans invaded and started the eventual conquering of the Anglo Saxon Kingdoms, and some Viking ones too.
Just over a hundred years later in 1169 the Normans invaded Ireland.
They eventually held large portions (not all) of Ireland, but these were Normans not Anglo-Saxons.
So Ireland would have place in an Anglo-Saxon kingdom.

That really doesn't seem terribly correct, Celtic nations in the British isles were (and in some ways are) culturally distinct from anglo saxons and were separate states for a long time.

@ianandsue5 In regards to the Dál Riata mod, it was a very early one by Viregel and has likely been removed along with the rest of his self-published Civ V mods (or at least those that have not been rereleased by other modders) – iI doubt that it'll get rereleased as other mods sort of fill the niche, especially now that the Fili (one of the uniques of Dál Riata) has a home here.

the kingdom of ireland was just a kingdom differentiating itself from England, the official name of the civilization was known as the Saxons which included the irish, British, Scottish and the Anglo Saxon Germans which included Germanic and even Slavic Regions. as per the flow of the game the civilization should be the Anglo Saxons with Ireland and Scottland as kingdoms or "cities" right? But im not dissing this is a very good contribution i will download eventually.
