After enabling the lasers, The structure of the room incorrectly "clued" me to power the receiver on the floor below through the glass next, which was an easy task. To my surprise it was the exit that opened , so I ended up skipping almost the entire level that way!

very good level, especially for a first. I did find a bit of cheese, though it isn't very intuitive. Its when you get the second redirection cube. Instead of using it to redirect the second laser, you can redirect the first laser twice to shoot through a crack between the wall and folding platform in the first room to get the path to the last room open. After which you can pick up the cube and direct the fourth laser onto its... receptor? then you can just portal back up to the main room, re-setup the lasers an finish the level.

Thanks for making! Really great work for your first Hammer map. I hope the others have pointed out some misaligned textures and nodraw visibility, as well as as maybe some over-lighting issues and scale problems (I had this problem too), but don't let this discourage you! Looking forward to seeing more!
