PS: I have modified the Corvette to my liking, so it could be my fault, but i haven't changed anything in this area.

However I do see one glaring weak point on this ship, that if given the chance I would exploit the hell out of. Given the nature of hydrogen thruster and more importantly hydrogen tanks, it is possible for enemy players to enter via the rear thrusters and get into the ship's superstructure and either hitch a ride or plant a booby trap (my weapon of choice).
The fastest way to solve this issue is place a few interior turrets on the aft section (have them only target characters & small ships) this should give you the best possible protection.
