The Nestorious is designed to be a heavy hitter that deals catastrophic damage to whatever it's up against. But if it takes severe damage it's out of combat for quite a bit. Unlike my cheap throw away designs where if we lose a ship oh well, and if it's salvageable that good too.
Nothing more annoying than an enemy that has plenty of ship to throw at you.
The rockets are the main firepower, in Nestorious’s case. It flies/performs in combat like a heavy fighter. The missile turret are just for point defense vs small ships, player made torpedo, etc.
Look forward to seeing more of your pvp redesigns!
A well built gatling ships can shred fighter squadrons if employed properly via shear volume of fire.
Now Whiplash has been experimenting with PMT (player made turrets) these are lethal as fuck to large and small grid ships, and accurate as hell depending on the user.
