Found the bug. The replace part for the large turret missing the "/damage" part after properties.

it seems i found (or maybe it is nothing new to you) a bug with the hivi/ma platforms of the station. they doesn´t shoot (only the small turrets like plasma/ma, hit/ma, hailstorm/ma etc). only the hivi/ma. and by the way i like the mod (in combination with the cwir mod it is a very nice challenge "especially with the xenon i)

also i think a mod for changes on the weapon mods would be necessary to fit your changes.

We fight (and fly) in space, not corridor; ships fly in "wings".
Plus, all models in game composed (sorry if wrong verb) from individual blocks, I no know as engine considers multi-hits, as hit outer surface only or as hit all met surface.

didnt mean this in the sense of hitting the same object multiple times or bypassing shields, but in the sense of hitting targets behind other objects (or other objects behind the Target)

8 hits in row without ricochet? No, this very powerful, in first, and unneed (unuseless), in second.
MD-cannon by-pass shield because use no-energy (well, with very little magnetization) bullet (shield just electromagnetic field).

small hint for the Railgun or another Variation of it:
add a
maxhits="8"
to the bullet macro in the bullet node (and keep the ricochet="0" ) - this way the Railgun gains Shoot-through properties like a proper Railgun should ;)
