Great idea and mod, -210! I've brought it to the modern day and beefed it up some. Hope that's ok!

yeah sorry. I'm currentry making own game and quit modding. anyway vannila is best I think you know. free modder have no responsibility with game and own mod because making mod is just a hobby same as reading book.

So do enemies use ammo then? Can they run out of ammo?
I like your mod and how it just adds ammo while keeping close to vanilla RW but if the enemies have unlimited ammo that would be a little unbalanced I think.

sulpher mining may be a pain - can u make a second mod with no sulpher and use another resource like chemfuel?

The reason I don't use combat realism is because I don't want the stats of the guns touched just ammo aspect.

yeah , I know such amazing wander. but that is not mod. Combat realizm's creater is making own another game on rimworld. If Combat realizm is only way of rimworld , developer of rimworld must install combat realizm to vanilla game. but I think that is not happened. because , Combat realizm is just a variation and so much another color wander. I'm respecting that's creater. but just , what I'm trying is , coodinating vanilla rimworld and modding for only myself.

carrying ammos , actualy , that is easy to implement.
but I just want you think , "Why actual RIMWORLD developer dose not implement carrying ammo?"
like I saied , Pawn have own inventory , and weapon verb can easy to access owner pawns , Implementing is realy easy!
so why? It , just , nothing carrying ammos is best experience for RIMWORLD.
Retreating to colony for refilling ammo , or reloading clips , that will have to be just annoying for players.
so I just want this form of ammo consumption , actually , this is my first mod idea when playing this game at first.
I can understand why guns dose not require ammo , but , you know , Show of West side in Galaxy need ammunition problem.
It must be. so this is what I wanted. I'm very sloth guy , but that is not slothing things.

yeah , I did not implement of crafting charge rifle ammo because ... you know I just wandered , How can we make energy pack on colony?
I mean it's energy thing! so , maybe that need electric charging facility and that need tons of energy.
tons , How much? energy is can not be valued on rimworld. or just mechanoid should drop energy cell and use for that? or buy from exotic trader glitter fuel and use for that?
that was what I thougting , you know , I'm very sloth guys. I can sleep all several days without any feeling of wasting life times. I love sleep. realy love.
anyway , energy ammo is well doing for increasing colony wealth with actualy nothing effect same as charge rifles. I think can not make energy ammo is best.

could you make a verson where you can craft charge rifle rounds? Also how difficultwould it be to make them actually carry ammo?

Thanks your suggestion! Adding type of bullets is very fascinatelly idea! that sholud make rimworld more fun! but you know , If we do so, this mod cause requiring for rebalance through entire games. This mod is just parasite on vanilla game balance. Balancing is most hard part , specially making mod. what if when vanilla balance will be changed , modder have to rebalance own mod again. that continue forever. but , if just I parasite on vanilla balance , that is no need. that is why mod must be simple. I think. but still , your idea is very fascinatelly. I want implement that idea if I can.

You should change sulfur to gun powder . . . Think this is interesting and an awesome addition for anyone who wants more realism/challenge in the game. Why not add type of bullets? example bullets made of silver, gold, uranium or plasteel and each kind adds bonus damage to the weapon.
