Report a translation problem
I did edit the files as directed but that did not fix every aspect of the mod. Why can't someone else pick up the mod, fix it, and republish it/their own version? If it's such an easy fix for a modder to do, I wish someone would for the sake of the DST community. I would if I could.
Would love to see a Domestication Plus (Fixed) version up there someday. Like others have fixed other broken mods I love. Thank-you ever so much to those who have. <3

Good it worked :) I don't know much about the other features of this mod, so no clue why they are not working anymore.
My beefalo bell mod only does what is mentioned in description.
Unfortunately, the UI of the mod is still broken. It's missing info it displayed before, such as the domestication % & obedience (maybe more, going by memory), and it doesn't show the beefalo health/hunger anymore, just shows the max when u mouse over them.

At the github-link you see which files you have to change:

the red marked code is the code it was before the fix. The green line is the code it should be.
So you replace the red code with the green code.
until the author fixed it, you can fix it yourself, it is just 2 short lines:

I really appreciate the heads up though. If the beefalo leave the world with me, I'm unaware of it b/c it's a localhost. I guess I'll make a back-up & find out if they will be deleted. Living dangerously!
Hope they can fix their mod soon. It's been weeks now, has it not? Not looking good. Wish ShowMe added domestication loss prevention to the list of toggleable features in the config! Thank-you so much for taking the time to leave such helpful advice. +1 Rep. :D
I'm sure author will fix it soon, since recezib already fixed it, so it is only copy/paste now.
But I suggest to NOT remove the mod. Just stop playing this world, until it is fixed, just to make sure there will be no conflicts. I'm not sure here, but at least my version of the beefalo mod has this problem (because your beefalo leaves server with you. And if you deactivate mod, it will be deleted instead of spawned again)
Gonna have to disable it... I'm gonna be really upset if my beef undomesticate now. I have one of each 4 tamed. Took a lot of time, effort, and aggravation to tame them. Would hate to lose them @ this point. Up 'til now, ur mod has been a Godsend, ty muchly for it. Hope you fix it soon.
P.S. I'm using the Show Me mod (the modified by a 2nd author version). Hopefully that's not interfering in any way.
Does the collar mean you can instantly domesticate and tame a beefalo, or is it only usable on domesticated & tamed beefalo?
The permission item does not work and also the toothtrap protection seems not to work.
(looking at the code of permission, it seems I have to pickup the item once to make it work?! maybe you should add a onbuilt function too?)
And the player the beefalo follows does always change (I guess this is default behaviour), but when having the collar, the beefalo should only follow the owner.
And a feature request:
- Call your beefalo (which will teleport your beefalo to you)
- (or wormhole travel with beefalo)

If i put the collar to the beefalo it doesn't trigger the traps until i disconnect, when i connect again for continue the match, the beefalo activates tooth traps unless i craft another collar to put to the beefalo (the evidence of this fact is that i left the beffalo at the core of my bunch of traps, and it was alive because it didn't activate the traps, then i disconnect and when i start the game again that poor beast start to activate all the traps until it dies).
