Turns out Amazonia cloned the vanilla tek armos peices, then reparented them to PrimalItemArmor_Base* so they could be used with unaltered skins.
I only ask because both as a mod developer and a player I'm interested in your implementation, and hoping i can make certain changes in a copy of the mod for use on a private server, as several of my players have made requests that I cannot otherwise grant (I've had several requests for the ability to apply vampire eyes to a tek helmet), and the other mod author i asked informed me (not entirely correctly I believe) that the skin had to be flagged to apply to the armor, not the other way around.
@Bubba - Unfortunately, no. At least, not at the moment. I do not have the time to add all the new features that I desired to after Aberration's release. However, the mod in its current state should continue to function just fine, as far as I am aware. I do hope to update and add to it at some point, but I am unsure as to when this will be.
@Vokun_Vulon - Enabling the application of skins is not something that I can do. As mentioned in a previous post of mine, the settings that allow an item to accept skins is coded into the actual armor piece itself. Therefore, modifying Tek armor to accept skins would require overriding the actual Tek armor entries themselves, creating massive potential for mod conflicts and other issues. As such, altering and overriding base files is something I will absolutely NOT do for any reason.
I know that the ark dev kit has been updated with the aberration's additions, could you add the hazard suit skin please? 😇
Thanks for your work on this mod!
From what I saw of the armor he can do what you ask for

Do you know any modders that could do such a mod? I would contact them then.
I meant to suggest to create a new mod, just for fashion, costumes, wear and tear. :-)
And up to now, almost no other modders have created such mods. Only a few OUTFIT mods exist, and they don't contain interesting stuff. The admins, people on our two servers hope that you could make our wishes to exciting reality with your skills.
@Mantis - Now that the Manticore Armor skins have been implemented as part of the core game files, instead of via other mods, I could certainly attempt to create a Glider / Zipline Motor version of them, when I do so for the other skins. Whether it is possible for me to do so or not depends on how the glider and motor models are implemented; That is, whether they are additional attachments (that could simply be stacked on the Manticore Armor models) or directly incorperated into alternate models of the base armors.
