The hostages are set to captive and can be lead around using ACE. I didn't want to make them do things like "join team" since it is always a nightmare to get AI into a vehicle under fire. Besides, originally it was intended to fast-rope onto the roof, but that proved to be impractical

What was used from ace that makes the mission require it?

Well you can simply unpack the mission file, load it in the editor, and set the respawn from "Side Member" to something else, like respawn on the spot. I believe ACE has its own respawn system as well that you could use, but if I am honest, I don't really know how respawn works - I have never used it.

I know it kind of takes the essence from the mission but I really wanted to know how to edit it because I'm trying to create missions and as you can see I'm new at it... and thanks for replying so fast :)

My missions never have respawn. My opinion on respawn is that it waters down the game. As a player I want to be afraid of the enemy otherwise I will just go into a rambo-respawn-rambo cycle.

Bottom line, try to stay alive ;)

GJ man, a classic! Just one thing: you know how can I create a respawn point? I'm playing with my friends but when someone dies we need to restart the mission so no one gets left out the fun, right?

The units are German KSK. Normally there would be a Pzfst 3, but since we don't have that I opted for the Carl Gustav since the German Army (used to, at least) uses that. Germany doesn't use RPG-7's.

There is also only one AT soldier in the group.

AT soldiers equipped with unreasonable equipment, in such a fast response action equipped with a RPG may be better

Check your RPT file. The mission uses the CUP KSK models, they've been in for a while, your RPT file should give you a hint..

Make sure that you are sorting the folder by date and take the latest one. Also, if you are using a dedicated server, check that one's log as well.

Tried to play it with some extra mods. Nothing showed up in the lobby, tried with just the CUP's listed, same empty lobby. Anyone have and help/suggestions? Want to play this so bad!
