that's the sound file. If you look into Sounds>Addons>This Addon, there should be a single file that has this sound effect

yes, it replaces the flatline sound so it will be the same effect every time

It's a retexture of the combine soldier. Check Game Banana for it, I'm aure it's there

because the server needs it to be installed in order for you to have the sound when you die. go on a server with this addon and it will not play if the server does not have this installed

Yeah... But then why include the clientside part. Clientside means the host doesn't require this to be installed, you can join anyserver and this will work.

well the server must have it installed in order for it to work, its like joining your friends server.

If he has addons A and B, while you have addons C and D, and you connect to his server, you can only use addons A&B because its running from HIS game. does this make sense?

This Addon I believe is Clientsided
And
The server must have this addon installed so you can hear it.
