This was pretty cool

I loved it. Just about vomited, need to get my 3D headset out for this one. Great job. Might have been a little bit too easy though...
Glimerl 14 Oct, 2014 @ 8:02pm

and hence: the mystery. That was the only editor I could find ( thanks) , but over MY head...mysterious.
Zorxon  [author] 10 Oct, 2012 @ 5:14pm
"HOW" is simply answered: Hammer Editor ;)
>>=Gὁﹾᴥﹾodog--> 10 Oct, 2012 @ 4:46pm
What I enjoy is the varied transports. the way a funneltube switches on and catches you just before you smack like a Loooney tunes coyote in a poof of dust- HOW they switch on is an editing mystery to me

GOOD WORK

...OK, credit where it's due: for a map that seemingly could've come straight out of the Puzzlemaker, that was one well-modified rollercoaster. The player should be afraid to strafe, even a little bit.

I should say, though, that I didn't need my portal device. Maybe you could start the player without it?
Baby dont hurt me 4 Oct, 2012 @ 4:55am
@Zorxon
ok, i get it.
and when you will make puzzel with hummer, i will enjoy play it!
Zorxon  [author] 4 Oct, 2012 @ 1:32am
Thanks for your rating, but why should I use more faith plates? In my eyes it looks boring if you get transported by faith plates (almost) only. Gel is always a nice touch (but if I use it in combination with Hammer, it always disappears o.O), and funnels are always nice for rollercoasters. The more variety a rollercoaster has, the funnier he becomes.
milk 3 Oct, 2012 @ 7:19pm
a++, could use more faith plates though
>>=Gὁﹾᴥﹾodog--> 3 Oct, 2012 @ 8:54am
Optional puzzles are good. Engaging puzzles are hard to create. I enjoy seeing this builders progress with each new test chamber he creates. Clever stuff. Needs more cowbell, though.
>>=Gὁﹾᴥﹾodog--> 3 Oct, 2012 @ 8:51am
wer.elk, Have you ever created a test chamber and worked with even the basic Editor? It's a bear. I've already slaved over several, and publishing destroys them. I am famialarizing myself with the editor, and these rollercoasters have helped me see the physics and ideas on logistics;how to establsh paths a player can follow, create reveals, and building an atmosphere. While the rollercoasters can bog down with slow conveyances, Zorxons are laid out well with some spectacular views in those slower sections, and give you a quick , cheap thrill.

So far 3 out of 5 of my test chambers survived, and fixing what publishing wrecks is tedious, and frustrating when suddenly chambers I slave over are inaccressable. There are THOUSANDS of test chambers; some are amatuerish; some are great, but there are plenty to choose from. Good job Zorxon.

@wer.eik I know about that. And probably you know that the map editor allows you to build what you want to build. And I started with rollercoaster maps for learning the basics of the PeTI and Hammer Editor (especially the last one) with the guarantee to get a result. If I did puzzles and wanted to add something like spikes but weren't able to use them correctly, I would be frustrated probably. So I started with simple maps / concepts. But I will do a puzzle soon, just need to know about the good use of Hammer (cause that editor just makes your maps better). Enough said, but I guess that you have to agree that there are enough players who like rollercoaster maps.
Baby dont hurt me 3 Oct, 2012 @ 6:34am
@Zorxon you know that the i diea in portal is THINKING.
so stop make "rollercoaster" maps. its just not "portal".
Zorxon  [author] 3 Oct, 2012 @ 5:39am
@wer.eik Have you ever played "rollercoaster" maps before? Rollercoaster maps in general have NO PUZZLES to solve or think about. If you want a rollercoaster map with puzzle, play my #4, it has a little puzzle included. (Probably you'll dislike all rollercoaster maps if you want maps with puzzles)
Baby dont hurt me 3 Oct, 2012 @ 5:25am
were is all the thinking?
i dislike, its wasn't fun!

I'd like to apologize. I'll come back and clean that up. It'll NEVER happen aga.....Oooooops!
I 'll get that one too. Chariot. Scooter. Bet you thought I was going to type chariot again. Well, that's Cave Johnson. Hey I never made any false claims! About chariots. Call our lawyer.

Awesome map here, keep it up!
Thanks for this map, I enjoyed it very much!
Want to try out the hardest map in the worshop?
For all of those who were waiting for my newest map (and for all of those who are new to my maps),here's a link to my newest map called "Cubelessness 2":
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=89526264
- Testing: Fizzlers/Cubes/Buttons/Funnels and their applications in the field of science.
- Difficulty: Hard-Very Hard
- Estimated time to complete: between 5 minutes and 1 hour.
If you know the first part of this map ("Cubelessness": https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78146075) then you will find this second part even better, it is harder and more elegant, with no fancy tricks or unconventional methods here.
Thanks again
