GUNDHAM TANAKA LETS GOOOOOO

Now it could be funny to see Gundham as Reaper and the phantoms as his devas of destruction.
Too bad that only one deva will be those phantoms

Okay, well, first off, you should be able to find your Steam folder inside C: Program Files, or otherwise Program Files(x86). Then from the Steam folder click 'steamapps', then 'common'. This is where the files of most of your Steam games are.
Obviously, what you want next is 'Crypt of The Necrodancer'. In there should be a folder called 'downloaded_mods'. This is where all the mods you've downloaded go.
Essentially, when you load up a mod, the game checks those mod folders and replaces the original files with anything in those that's given the same name. Just check if everything is in order: inside 'Tanaka the Forbidden One' there should be a 'bestiary' with the character select art, an 'entities' with Gundham's sprites, and a 'sounds' folder with all of the voice clips.

I'm not sure how anything even could have messed up there, but if everything looks fine and you still can't use this mod but can use other ones, I don't know what's up. If something IS off, try just resubscribing.

I'm not sure what you mean, all I did was edit some graphics and sounds (as in, the mod only swaps the original files with mine, no coding changes), so - as far as I know - if the game works with the standard sprites, it should also work with this mod.

Have you played with any other mods, and did those work fine? If so, I can really only suggest that you check the files in your Steam folder and compare them with other mods to see if something's missing (just ask if you need any instructions on that).
Deleting the folder containing this mod (Tanaka the Forbidden One) and resubscribing could also be worth a shot.
Sorry I can't be more help, but I don't know about the game's code, I'm mostly just a pixel artist, and not even a very good one.

Uh, that's not really necessary... At the moment I'm in the middle of a series of exams, but I suppose I could end up making a Fuyuhiko at some point. It's only a shame that Player 2 can't have different voice clips, otherwise it could be Fuyuhiko and Peko...
