Many thanks @MasterSyrron. Some great chapters in the US which I found on the main website. Now to see if we can establish one in Canada...

Check out Barfleet, as well.

Nice... still the fact that people do really inspires me. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes. Not all of the groups take the time or trouble.

Pretty cool @Dave. I know a group that has members based on Justice League characters but dressed as Klingons. Full gear, makeup, and everything. Does each member of the group paint their cars in a similar style as the picks above or just have a decal of the Ship name and call sign?

Yeah, they use starship or station names, *usually* making theirs up originally or based on their locality. Some groups I which was affiliated over the years include the IKV Shadow Runner (a Klingon themed group,) USS Victorious, USS MacArthur (later ISS MacArthur, mirror universe themed,) USS Alliance, USS Tiberius, USS Ringling, and Deep Space Two (a station.)

Thanks for the info @Dave. Did not know fandom took up coat of arms based on shuttlecraft names. There are so many great ones to choose from. Not including those named after series' respective FX teams lol.

YES!!! The one that says they were parked in the handicapped space and was featured in the 1997 film "Trekkies." That is from the group from Clearwater, FL (now disbanded) called the USS Roddenberry. In Trek fandom, most clubs name themselves after a ship or station. The first officer of the group was in a wheelchair, thus the handicapped spot.

I believe the photo you are referring to @Dave is this one. [hirschda.blogspot.ca] We took further inspiration from here [www.curbsideclassic.com] and here. [tevis.net] Hope that helps. Be sure to follow the Star Trek collection as another artist and I will be releasing another asset.

The real world photo there, do you know who he is and where is he from? We have a group that has a custom 1701 van that frequents conventions around Florida and the Southeast US. Just curious if he's from that group.
