Катюша: have you tried Alternative Mod Launcher and remove it that way?
It's actually AimUpgrade_Prt.
Only for your information: prototype autoloader is not working (LW2).
Kind regards.
All prototype mods are obtained as rare loot drops that can occur in the mid and late game.
This mod is not designed for Long War 2.
It looks like the scripts only modify scopes, hair triggers, stocks, and repeaters. All but the repeaters have new config settings in XComLW_Overhaul.ini; the repeaters may have config settings somewhere as well, but I haven't found them.
Long War 2 is the problem. It edits the upgrades within its scripts, so you wouldn't see anything in its INI file.
Do you have any other upgrade-related mods installed?
The only changes I've made since the previous upload are bug fixes. You can add your loot back by using the vanilla commands for adding upgrades but with the tier suffix "Prt"
hi sir,
first of all ty for continuing this mod i really enjoyed it, and im happy to hear that someone keeps it up to date now(just started to play again)! a few questions tho: did you change anithing balance wise ? and is there a console comman to add prototype loot bc i would like to get my lost gear back from the mod change or do i have to start a new run anyw8s to see the loot drop/the changes happening ?
Regards jooshy
The rebalancing is removable through simple ini editing, and Prototype upgrades are a new tier that rarely drops.
I'm not sure how LW2 modifies loot tables, so there's a chance this mod will work. What I do know is that the Prototype upgrades will still have vanilla functionality instead of taking on LW2's upgrade roles.
Guess I should've been paying more attention. Thanks for letting us know!
Early game there shouldn't be any issues, since this mod only overrides the mid game and late game loot tables for aliens, and just the late game loot table for ADVENT.
I'm guessing not by default since they both modify loot tables. However, it should be possible to combine their modifications by following the instructions in tip 7 here. [imgur.com] I'll also see if I can get this to work automatically or with an addon mod.
