Is there a possible way to remove the shiny glow at all? Best Halo 5 Master Chief model on here but that shiny glow is what stops me from uysing this mod.

Boom! I fixed the glossiness and the horrible white shading(I think did was intentional on your part) in darkness. I love this model or so very much, even though it lack any little lights or a visor with proper refraction but thats ok. One issue and the lengths I have to go to in blender to fix it is something really simple or annoying, masterchieft left hand by the knuckles have an extra floating piece of armor, if you can delete this that would be perfect, it just hovers or sinks during most animations and is very annoying.

How do i go about removing it's gloss, its all silver and shiny in dark places which is maddening. Clearly the best survivor model in the workshop if it was just refracting light properly/realistically.

@Neverstops_ 577 lol, yeah XD there's a difference between sfm shaders and l4d2 ones. But the ones I see that soulburning use for her sfm models work nicely for L4D2 Halo 5 spartans. I suggest taking a look into how Soulburning does the .vmt

@Neverstops_577 no,no. The textures themselves look great. Just how the .vmt applied the shaders to them look bad. For reference look at my halo 5 Spartans and note how I used the shaders on them. You can apply it to the chief and see what a difference that makes.

the model looks great. But it seems like the texture shaders in the .vmt need adjusting as his armor looks too clay-like. That and the visor looks like it needs an ev_map to have that nice reflection look.

His right hand keeps twisting more than likely because the weapon bone isn't fixed. The weapon bone on the right hand needs to be in the EXACT same xyz coordinates as the hand bone, though rotation doesn't seem to matter as much. Just unparent the weapon bone, copy the space coordinates of the right hand bone, paste them to the weapon bone, & reparent it to the hand after & export.
