For white you could just do $basetexture then type in white lol

For white use float $basetexture and for black use color $color

The colorscript is very cool too, though a little limited in that it affects the entire model, including the colors it already has. It uses substractive color mixing, so using the script on existing colors will turn them darker until completely black.

Actually Pipann is right, because that method does indeed apply to every model. TBH all you'd even need to do is have a plain white material, $basetexture that on then add on $color (or $color2 in rare cases). Infinite colour range o/

It doesn't have to be for props, it could be used for models that don't have that option

Not trying to burst any bubbles here, but many props have paintability options and there is a color script on the workshop that can apply any range of color in the RGB spectrum..

It's not a bad idea initially, but why should we use this if we have that?
