I think frackin remove the fall damage because no one of the monsters take damage from fal. While when i play witouth FU this mod was working perfectly.

Its hillarious going to a tentacle planet and begin to rain enemy creatures and just dying be touching the ground lol, only this mod makes it possible guys.

In FU I haven't seen any creature or hostile NPC taking fall damage. Is this an explicit option that must be enabled?

This is a very good mod , in fact thanks to this mod it saved me from dying several times in my hardcore game . Thank you for this . And now that I think about it , I don't know how I'm going to do the glitch mission .

This mod started giving me problems a few weeks ago and three days ago I couldn't even turn on the game. Because it broke without giving an explanation and I finally managed to find the error. Without any other mod and without any explanation this mod breaks the game. Thanks for everything and I sincerely hope this isn't too much work to fix. Have a great day and see you next time.

This mod still works on 1.4 but there are small changes in 1.4 that is replaced by this mod. Very small actually: it checks whether NPCs and monsters can be affected by damage from status effects.

@Kit, I've updated your mod in accordance to that small change. Do you still have interest in uploading it? I can send the file if needed.

Gets told by the maker of FU that fall damage is in his mod pack. takes this off. monsters dont take damage. comes back to re-add. Good mod 10/10 does what it says.

Yep, it should still be compatible with the current Starbound version. If you are already using Frackin Universe, however, you don't need this mod, since FU already has it in it.

This mod is actually already a part of Frackin Universe, and so all monsters in it should already take fall damage without this mod.

As far as I know, this mod doesn't conflict with that many other ones, but ones that override the default properties for all npcs or monsters might, if the scripts conflict.

ah, good point. those escort missions are a hassle enough as it is. though most times NPCs die from knee-deep poison/lava pools coz of stupid AI.

Yeah, I left it disabled for friendly NPCs just because I realized escort missions became even more annoying with that new chance for them to be knocked off the edge and instantly die.

iirc NPCs avoid jumping down if they're gonna take fall damage, so NPCs should be included with fall damage as default.

the only time i recall NPCs falling down is when they get pushed off a cliff by a monster (or if i attack them). in which case, it's fine for them to die that way.

Yeah, I always thought that was really strange. It hurt me a little everytime a monster would chase me off of a high cliff and end up just fine at the bottom.

Nice but this needs a small change for the percentage because I've seen monsters survive drops which were way past certain death for players with 10-15% left :o
