Its not obsolete since many people didnt buy BNW, some are still only running G&K!

When BNW got out i updated every mod for BNW while trying to stay compatible with G&K :)

Hope you enjoy the rest of the mods, Also check out the other collection, maybe something there will interest you!

Oh, sorry, never read that part... must have just been skimming XD lol but it does suck that they made this obsolete & it's cool that they implemented it! I have the rest of the religion mods, though, because they seem pretty good :) haven't tried them yet, though...

@Seth5711

That is stated in the mod description. This mod was there way before BNW, maybe they think it was a good idea after all :)

*until the BNW update already does this XD* :steamfacepalm:

Can you make piety be compatible with rationalism in this or in some mod?
BlouBlou  [author] 2 Sep, 2013 @ 4:20pm
@lock

mod description updated, little typo there, thx!
lockstep 31 Aug, 2013 @ 2:43am
You should mention in the description that this mod is not necessary for Brave New World, as this expansion includes "Early Piety" by default. Also, the second tree is called "Liberty", not "Freedom".

@BlouBlou

Sorry read the Obselete Beliefs ++ as a pack with all four mods that was done being updated
BlouBlou  [author] 31 Jul, 2013 @ 7:08pm
@Lucky

All religion mods at least need g&K (of course its religion) except this one for early piety.
The only mod that was updated and now need Brave new world is the beleif expansion pack. and as said in the description of the mod, i kept the G&K version online:

@BlouBlou

Didn't you realease a mod for those that won't be buying DLC? I have no problems with you updatin this but why do you need to with the other mod?
BlouBlou  [author] 12 Jul, 2013 @ 10:31pm
@Meethos

yes its pretty cool they put this feature in the game =), there still many g&K users though who will continu to use it.

thank you for your comment and of course ill keep up the work! already updated all mods for bnw and released a new one, working on it!

have a good day =)

First of all I'ld like to say how much I enjoy all of your mods, though it appears that Firaxis loved this mod so much that they made it part of Brave New World. So anyone who has the new expansion no longer needs to use this mod. It was very useful for Gods & Kings though, so thank you. Keep up the great work.

Thanks a lot.

@Lord

Thx for your great comments! but you spoke too fast, unfortunatly many of my mods requires G&K. Some mod in the utility collection dont, like the starting scout, or barbarian XP and this one, who would give you the piety tree even if you dont have G&K, but the Era mods and almost half of the utility list requires it.

Also with Brave new World on the way (next expansion) probably that news mod i make will requires this new expansion. I alway try to make them compatible with vanilla if possible but thats rarely the case. The G&K expansion changed the base game a lot, its more of an expansion than a dlc, i honestly think you should upgrade, espcieally now thats it 75% sales, (like6-7$), its a must in my opinion.

Regards.

BlouBlou, enjoy your free Favorites, Subscriptions, and Ratings. YOU ARE THE CIV V GOD.
I absolutely LOVE how your mods don't neccessarily NEED G&K to run, unlike 95% of the mods on Steam. I do not have any expansion packs and I like mods. So you sir, are awesome!
BlouBlou  [author] 25 Jan, 2013 @ 1:08pm
@Fiery,

Yes this one is compatible with vanilla =) thanks for your comment!
Fierysaint 25 Jan, 2013 @ 7:37am
I can have this for vanilla right?
Fierysaint 25 Jan, 2013 @ 7:35am
Good mod! And alot more accurate! People believed in God since the stone ages. Thumbs up and subscribing.
Jise 3 Dec, 2012 @ 11:57pm
I wish there was an 'early freedom' mod... G&K moved freedom to industrial era and it seems too late.
Sol 27 Jul, 2012 @ 10:32am
now if you could make Playable Kahjiit, with a buildible thieves guild, i would be using all of your mods.
BlouBlou  [author] 22 Jul, 2012 @ 7:22pm
yeah the more it play it, the more it seem to me that earlier piety should have been in vanilla, glad you like.
regordrum 22 Jul, 2012 @ 5:56pm
Good mod. I too noticed when I was able to choose Piety, all my Shrines were
already built ! Gods & Kings needs a patch as I am noticing some things that
are not working correctly.
Grathocke 21 Jul, 2012 @ 9:04am
Yes, I've got them all, as well as some of your other ones.
BlouBlou  [author] 20 Jul, 2012 @ 2:17pm
just my humble opinion anyway. in any case im glad you subscribed and like the mod/collection. (if you got all 3) . have a good day :-)
Grathocke 20 Jul, 2012 @ 2:03pm
Hmm, I hadn't really thought about it that way, but thanks.
BlouBlou  [author] 19 Jul, 2012 @ 7:23pm
@ i agree with piety, even the bonus were fitting.

for your comment about "liberty", i thin your reference to democratic government apply much more to the Freedom branch, wich is in renaissance. I think that "liberty" represent the nomadic tribes and expansionist one.

thanks for your interest! =)
Grathocke 19 Jul, 2012 @ 2:50pm
I was really happy to see this mod. Piety makes sense in the early stages of the game. I do suggest that Liberty be moved to later, as I can't recall any democratic or republican governments before the classical era.
