@DarkFall that's cool, thanks for the pics. :)

I have always loved this building and have used various versions of it over and over, so it only seemed right to give it an update with the newest windows. I tried to add the limited shapes without changing the "bones" of the building too much. Here's what I ended up with:

It is mainly concrete. The "support beams" are made of steel blocks. (You can see the two different grays in the screenshots.) You can use the "replaceblocks" console command to swap materials. :)

@liftallthepizzas, I found one problem with this that I know of, I tried upgrading it to combat steel, and the top parts mid section upper roof on left and right side between both the main roof region, if you could possibly reinforce it I'd really appreciate it. :Quiet:

@liftallthepizzas yes as does the symbols. Anything that doesn't require re-counting. We have built a lot of very large POI villages and CV's and try to find ways to cut down on the work wherever possible. So thought I'd share 1 idea. BTW; Great looking base. Hope the best to you. ;)

I was watching your video. And have a suggestion that might help in future builds. Create a dozen wood blocks. Then when you are trying to keep block counts. Just place a wood block every 10 or 20 blocks. Then you don't have to re count all blocks. Saves a bunch of time. And can recycle the blocks later with Multi tool. Saves us a ton of time on our large CV or base builds.

nice build but trying to sink this into the ground even with the page down options is a nightmare, as it has extra bars under that you cant see in the picture. I would aproximate that you need to drop it almost 3 block deep into the ground too get it level. mayb the auther could remove some of the underlaying bars?

Great job on the build Lift. Subbed! Perhaps now that Masperon is a starter planet I'll use this for my first base :)
WackyGunner 20 Dec, 2016 @ 5:18am
This is not my style for building, but the pure size of the overspan is awesome. Lol, I could fit my cheap CV in there, Id say, both of them, in one corner. :P
Thanks for sharing and I like yer vids.

Hey lift, I watch you on YouTube and your recordings are really fun. Keep up the great work.
liftallthepizzas  [author] 18 Dec, 2016 @ 1:51pm
@Fractalite, the beams (light gray) are iron, the rest is concrete blocks. LOL everyone thinks it is a cathedral or the legion of doom.
Fractalite 18 Dec, 2016 @ 10:20am
Heeeeeeeeeeey, it is Lift! Nice! I have been watching some of your videos regarding this... erm.... fortress? Cathedral? Awesome place? And I was hoping you would post it here. That is all cement right?
