How about King's Row and Hanamura?

Well then it will be innacurate :)

It wouldn't really "alienate players".

The most that will happen is some people who've never heard of Overwatch will be like "oh that's a neat differentish setup" and people who have heard of Overwatch will be like "eh, inaccurate map".

The thing is, there are 2 main differences in map design conventions between TF2 and OW. First is that control points don't have a predetermined shape or size in OW, while all TF2 points have the round control point metal plate in the center and are very open. The other is that respawn rooms heal you instantly upon entering in OW, while you have resupply cabinets in TF2. Atlhough these things can be done OW style in TF2, I decided going with TF2 conventions, to avoid alienating TF2 players. I might consider adding cover to center point in a similar design though.

I think I would appreciate the map more if it brought in some of Overwatch's ingenuity: Such as the gigantic nearly building-wide control point with the cover in the center, and those spawn rooms that insta heal (can be done with trigger_hurt).

Maybe a texture to show the healing symbol on spawn rooms for one team only, similar to the 'you can't enter' symbol.

why don't you make textured-map? I love your map but there isn't have any skins :steamfacepalm:
I can help you! (I tried 3 section koth map like overwatch and it works!)

I decided against adding a central pillar on the point, because opened up center is standard TF2 control point design. However, adding more alternate cover is something I consider adding.

Shouldn't there at least be something to give the control point capturers cover? It's one of things that makes this map unique in Overwatch
