Regardless of the issue, I do like this asset. Still looking into a solution. If I find something, will let you know.

Sorry, but I am not aware of how to prevent the AI from ignoring the church and building on top of it. Perhaps you can call it "greedy commercial progress" by the city - and move the church, LOL? It's a free assest after all. As you say, perhaps permanent structures around or under it may prevent the problem?

Thank you for the beautiful church. However, as mentioned previously by hannes grabner, there doesn't appear to be anything from preventing the game AI from plopping other buildings on/in the church. Not stopping me from using this. Currently I'm trying to place fencing around the church in hope it will stop the AI.

hannes.grabner, there are ways to prevent that from happening. You could line fencing along any road that is close to the church or even a wall. I'm using a mod that adds curbing with different heights which prevents the AI from encroaching upon any space I close off. I've been trying different methods to control expansion of my cities and the curbing has worked so far. ;-)

hannes.grabner - Sorry, outside my skills set. I suggest you simply relocate the church, or you demolish the new buildings that encroach upon its hollowed grounds.

I like this - especially cause I was looking for some kind of church for a long time. Unfortunately, this is of no use if you build it in a city, cause it turned out that new buidlings are automatically built exactly at the same spot you placed the church, resulting in some weird looking mix of church and buildings. If possible, it would be great to fix that issue because this one is a really nice building.

Yes, it's something to do with the original model. You need very flat ground, and just have to get creative with rocks and trees, lol.

Nice, but it "flies" a bit
