Can I suggest a change ot smoking Tax, it currently pisses of everyone which kinda annoys me(not everyone smokes). Could you change it so only the poor and capiatalists get upset?

GenericNerd it is true in those cases but if you use that money just to avoid borrowing money, or store it (something you can do in this game) it does damage GDP, In real live a sane gobernment would spend it on usefull things (something not al gobernments do), but in this game you can do all sort of things. (by the way paying state employes wages for doing burocratic job (not state corporations) do damage the economy)

metaldragon, the thing about taxes is they don't hurt the GDP as much as people believe because the money the government takes in taxes isn't just sat in some vault somewhere. The money is immediately spent on paying companies to build roads, paying government employs' wages, etc. Meaning that the government just simply redirects the flow of money instead of destroying it.

Which mods does it include? Are the Socialist reform and War mods included?

GenericNerd, I know that in some cases it is true, but when the increase on earnings is because of a tax relief it becomes absurd. in my opinion things like that should increase GDP and the higher the GDP the higher the earnings, but it should not be a direct: I take 40% of you income in taxes but it only decreases your earnings on 7% because of reasons and if I give you a tax relief for sending your kids to a private school your earnings will increase 10% with almost no cost in comparison to the tax revenue because.... ¡reasons!

metaldragon, in a lot of cases, that is how it works in real life. One example of this is in farming, If I buy everyone farm trators and such, assuming they had no such equipment before, they will produce many times as much food.

Please, try to solve the way tax and earnings work, it is absurd that I can increase earnings in 10% to everyone with some policies that cost almost nothing and only decrease the earning 7% with income tax collecting massive amounts of money (sorry for my english it is not my main languaje)

@Silverman I am thinking of trying to make it possible to have an almost taxless society. Taxes hurt big business, small business, innovation, which are all simulations in this mod.

Please, put some "taxation is theft" ancap staff in the mode, because right now, in unmodified version of the game, taxes have NO impact on economy and create money from a void, witch is unrealistic and anti-logical.

@Fox It comes up when you annoy Conservatives too much, with specific policies. There's one for Nationalists, Progressives, Socialist and Capitalists too.
