I tried around 40-50 maps. This is, by far, the best map I've come across. I just wish there was more! More base building, more options, more waves, more gameplay. Once you beat the demolisher, it's game over and you win. It'd be awesome if it just kept going and going.

Awesome, so technically its like activating a safe zone/ well of course :). So for a small safe zone i have to close the gate, clear the area of zeds, then power on the lights and such this triggers the safe zone is activated. Similar logic i have to complete a quest/gather objects, then activate a safezone element, the elements are actually a Mirage its there but not visible until a quest or certain trigger is activated, then that element becomes visible and activates/interactive in the game kinda like spawning weapons or items. You can say after 5 hours a weapon or item is spawned in this case a quest is complete the barricade is spawned to protect the safe zone from zeds.

Happy to help! Assuming you've already opened the map in editor. I'm gonna start off from a higher level.

You may notice that every collectible object has its own quest line, like there are 9 side quests and one main quest in this level. Since for each object there are 3 entrances to choose, each object's quest is parent to another 3 different quests, which each of them disables the other 2 when it is completed.

The mini-table is actually just a bunch of models or interactible items being enabled/disabled. Therefore, you're not actually "placing" an object, but making an object visible on the map when the player chooses to "place" them. The barricades are a little bit more complicated though. They can be upgraded, so there are more logic in the system (see QuestGathering04 05 07 for upgradable objects' quest lines)

Hey awesome map even though it small its packed full of action, for a person like me new to the tool it uses alot of game elements that a person like me can learn. If you could can you explain how you do the command table like how you add objects. I can see where the npc and defense elemenst are placed but i'm trying to figure out how you script the tables and placement of the objects.

you know that there is a window in the supplies room up top, right? ;D nice mod but maybe let the zombies spawn outside of the area and waaaaaaayyyy more of them. Btw the endboss can easily be oneshot headshotted with the shotgun when standing on the platform.

@Diamondback Regulus Thanks for trying out and reporting the bug!

@HomicidalGrouse Glad that we have similar ideas. Personally, I'm a big fan of being able to establish my own base in any game. You can create so many possible gameplay challenges just from collecting resources. Don't even mention how wide the game content can reach if your base is gameplay-wise useful in late game, instead of just a achievement museum. And that's what I'm trying to achieve in this map. Thanks for trying!

I was JUST on a twitch stream last night where a couple of us got into a conversation about how it would be neat if Dying Light 2 had a game mode that was all survival based instead of all the story progression, and it would be your job to establish a safe zone and then go out and rescue survivors and take them back to that safe zone to help build it up and establish communities to increase chances of survival.
