Any chance of a 1.6 update?
Assbaby 18 Jan @ 10:56pm
The only recipe that seems to work is Make component x10. I can add all the bills but colonists won't work on any of them even if it's the top priority.
mxdanger  [author] 25 Jun, 2024 @ 8:53am
@Eversor Please make an issue on the GitHub so we can help figure out the problem.
Asgahn 25 Jun, 2024 @ 8:46am
can't confirm that this works. I see the bills but non of my pawns can use them. As if the bill wasn't created.

Not so much a bug as a grammar suggestion for the mod page, when you say "Crafting 10 at a time has a reduction in crafting time by 75% per component." reduced by 75% per component would lead many to think it only takes 25% of the original time so instead i would recommend saying something along the lines of "Crafting 10 at a time reduces crating time to 75% per component."

also at the top it says crafting 25 is reduced to 60 but then under the work amount examples it says x24

either way thank you for the mod!

There have been no game breaking changes to RecipeDefs and I've done some quick testing to make sure it works for 1.5
AlteredBeast 7 Apr, 2024 @ 9:49am
still ok ?
FoxoManiak 8 Feb, 2024 @ 9:41am
Could this be compatible with Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Production's component assembly bench?
Art Student 3 Jan, 2024 @ 11:11am
from what i read it only need 60% to craft each component if you do bulk 25 with 18 crafting
Лабуба 4 Nov, 2023 @ 12:05am
Здравствуйте, мод почему-то не работает в самой игре.
danzloblaha13 16 Jul, 2023 @ 5:30am
*Sero mentioned fair point :D either tipo or joke on us D:
Sero 26 Jun, 2023 @ 4:46am
Is the crafting time reduced by 60% or to 60%?
The way it is now I see no reason to ever craft 25 components since it take 15% more time.
A V.O.I.D Representative 3 Mar, 2023 @ 3:19pm
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
sanityscraps 30 Jan, 2023 @ 7:45pm
Huh, so, for some reason, that aforementioned issue only shows up for one specific pawn, but not another. Weird. I don't get it.
sanityscraps 30 Jan, 2023 @ 7:39pm
I figured out a workaround using the deep storage mod, buuuut... right now all the materials for the advanced components are in deep storage skips. All the materials ARE there, I've checked, but my best crafter can't do it right now because the game thinks the materials don't exist. I'm gonna send this note to the deep storage mod comments as well. Because this worked BEFORE, right up until two minutes ago for some reason, and I haven't installed anything new.
mxdanger  [author] 23 Jan, 2023 @ 2:20pm
I'm not sure there is any way to alleviate that issue with this mod on our end (as its just a simple XML addition) besides nerfing how many materials is needed. In my save file I keep a high priority shelf/stockpile right next to the crafting bench with the materials needed.
sanityscraps 21 Jan, 2023 @ 9:03pm
Hauling all the materials to make 25 advanced components is a lot of work for only one person to do. I just had a problem where my best crafter was trying it, got too hungry and tired, and went to bed. And IN THAT TIME, these idiots hauled away all the materials she'd brought over. alsdjfa;lsdjf
Pyrion 11 Nov, 2022 @ 1:45am
They do actually get built, the problem is, 25 such objects ends up being too much for your pawns to carry, so rather than drop them off at the nearest storage area, they just drop them at their feet, and consequently the game doesn't update the counters. It won't, until those components get properly stored.
mxdanger  [author] 31 Oct, 2022 @ 4:11pm
I'll look into it.
tommylamb1 31 Oct, 2022 @ 9:59am
Not working as of 31/10 Pawns work on the bulk till 1 work is left and then the unfinished components vanish. tried with no mods active apart from this mod and tried with a new save but still doesn't work not sure.
mxdanger  [author] 24 Oct, 2022 @ 4:46pm
@Aureus Just like vanilla it is only possible to create advanced components at a fabrication bench, and it is useful as it stands here.

The assembly bench is added from the "Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Production" mod and it should only be able to produce components. Are the bulk components not showing up?
Aureus 24 Oct, 2022 @ 7:59am
Thanks for this mod.
Would it be possible to add the recipes on the assembly bench too ? Besides producing components, it is useless and stands there...
NothingToSay 21 Oct, 2022 @ 12:41pm
1.4?
Chad O'Bringers  [author] 6 Oct, 2022 @ 1:54pm
I guess at this point i should consider mxdanger the official maintainer of this mod, given my continuing absence from rimworld modding, since they've handled it for the last several major rimworld patches/dlc releases.
mxdanger  [author] 5 Jul, 2022 @ 6:23pm
Yes, it can be added to an existing save! It just adds new items.

You can also remove it from any save, just ignore the one time error that warns you about missing items.
~Forbesy 4 Jul, 2022 @ 6:32pm
Does this work with existing saves?
selest19 1 Jul, 2022 @ 6:32am
and i forgot to subscribe when i said that
selest19 30 Jun, 2022 @ 3:35pm
FINALLY REMEMBERED THIS EXISTED HOW AM I THIS DUMB
Hans 30 Aug, 2021 @ 1:14am
And i need something linke this for cooking and all other workbenches. A possibility x10 or x25- DO you think its possible to make?
mxdanger  [author] 23 Jul, 2021 @ 1:58pm
Yes, it works with 1.3. I did testing with versions 1.3, 1.2, and 1.0 and it works as expected. I'll be making a commit to the repository in the next few days that simplifies the multi-version mod structure and adds 1.3 as a supported version.
Stormtrooper 22 Jul, 2021 @ 10:38am
does it work in 1.3?
The Aghaniser 7 Jul, 2021 @ 2:50pm
Seems like a reasonable balance for the increased speed... just make them individually until you've gotten the required level.
Dj 11 Jul, 2020 @ 11:55am
could you add a note here in the workshop that the recipe requires a crafting skill of 14 and 18 respectively?
That makes this mod kinda useless for me sadly :/
mxdanger  [author] 4 Jul, 2020 @ 2:02am
No problem! :winter2019happyyul:
Chad O'Bringers  [author] 4 Jul, 2020 @ 12:35am
Thanks, Mxdanger. I merged the changes and uploaded the new release to the workshop.
mxdanger  [author] 3 Jul, 2020 @ 11:45pm
Made a pull request that adds Advanced Fabrication as a research prerequisite, as @Sinistrem and @Omega13 has mentioned, and the changed the recipe names to match other bulk recipes (example: Cook fine meal x4) https://github.com/Devdisigdu/Bulk-Components/pull/2
Omega13 21 May, 2020 @ 8:21am
Bug: Bulk Advanced Component recipe is unlocked without advanced fabrication being unlocked
kullen 11 May, 2020 @ 7:27am
The reduction in crafting times seem to not take at all, it takes the same amount to make 1 as 10 per unit.
@xunzuo can only be built by fabrication tables as far as ive seen, maybe thats why?
xunzuo 5 Apr, 2020 @ 8:38pm
why i can't find this recipe in my game?
Sinistrem 18 Mar, 2020 @ 3:51am
Mod allows bulk crafting of advanced components even before you have them researched for me, feels kinda op.
Chad O'Bringers  [author] 27 Feb, 2020 @ 4:47am
Thanks for that Tobe_continued. I merged the changes and uploaded it to the workshop.
Mister_Wolfgang 27 Feb, 2020 @ 2:43am
Pull request for Update to 1.1 i've made all change https://github.com/Devdisigdu/Bulk-Components/pull/1
QUEERS FOR PALESTINE 30 Apr, 2019 @ 2:10pm
As of version 1.0.2231 this mod fucks with caravans.

Your colonists will pack the gear onto the animal, but they can't interact with the carried items directly, only on the map mode. When the caravan returns all items that were carried disappear. Pretty shitty.
jraround 20 Dec, 2018 @ 2:09pm
thank you so much for the mod! do you need a new save for this?
Mister_Wolfgang 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:19pm
Hi ! Can you upload a B19 version on steam workshop ? Or can i have the permission for upload it ? For streamer's let's play and for facilitate its installation by the community.
Chad O'Bringers  [author] 4 Sep, 2018 @ 6:53pm
Yeah, I see what you mean. I've adjusted the crafting times
Mr. T-XP x64 Crosby Edition 4 Sep, 2018 @ 6:08pm
I think the costs may be off, unless another mod is messing with something, single components are 84 work per, but 10 as bulk are 1084, which is more than 10 singles (10 x 84 = 840)
Chad O'Bringers  [author] 28 Aug, 2018 @ 6:19pm
Updated to b19, with the recipes changed to fit the new b19 costs. Let me know if there's any other changes I missed.
Darth Jimmi 28 Aug, 2018 @ 11:51am
b19?
Morale -10 23 May, 2018 @ 5:33am
how much work is reduced for advanced components?
