To anyone having trouble: this mod is unnecessary if you have WOTC. Testing an unmodded game recently, one can use the WASD keys to pan across the Avenger just fine. No jumps, stickiness, or stutter, at least in my experience. So *if* you have WOTC, you *don’t* need this fix.

I'm having an issue with this. I have this mod enabled, but when I move the camera around, it pans smoothly, but at the same time the camera keeps jerking around and contiues selecting things on a grid base. Any suggestions?

I think it is (anecdotally). I was experiencing weird jumps and "stickiness" with WASD on the avenger; using this mod seems to have fixed it.

@Greenburger: Tried saving and loading yet? Or going into the barracks on a soldier and back? Both worked for me before, tends to be a bit buggy at times, appearently.

I just returned to the game and saw what they did.

How they even let this pass QA is baffling. Just shows they don't give a damn about fixing the game.

Jumping is still happening for me after a mission, but when selecting armory it's all fine again. :)

@Pully: The second bug you mention is in the game since day 1...some claimed it was only possible with mods, through I also read the opposite...it's pretty random through, and I'm personally sure that it's not coming from having more mods, as I had it back in the first months of the game a lot, and barely ever thereafter...through had it a few months back again. Now I've got even more mods than then and am yet to get it again. I'm not sure through if it might have been fixed with the controller-patch, but am kinda doubtful of that...

I had no idea the controller patch had broken it, hadn't played the game for a few weeks (until release of Long War 2) and just thought I was remembering the game to be smoother than it was when I noticed the patchy movements.

This'll hopefully fix the getting pinned under the ship after a mission and having to reload bug too, thanks :)

Love the mod, so much nicer moving with wasd and not snapping to rooms, but if possible, its a bit slow for me, id like to move left and right faster, hoping you could tell me or implement a way i can change how fast i move left right up down when i use wasd, thanks, keep up the great work!

Just done some testing with that no mods save. With only this mod active.

What seems to be triggering the vanilla, jerky, facility-to-facility animation is going to a facility via the navigation buttons. Left clicking on one and then Escape keeps the smooth WASD movement. Using the navigation buttons and then Escape reverts behaviour to facility-to-facility navigation.

I'll try and see if I can narrow things down a bit. Got a no mods test save.

Also noticed last night that WASD seems smooth on initial loading of the game but the vanilla behaviour re-surfaced after left clicking on a facility.

I have no idea what might be the issue. It could be some mod re-triggering screen focus events. I can try to make this mod more aggressive with changing the navigation, but I'd like to have mid lists of you both to maybe find the issue.

Like a couple of others have reported I'm still getting the jerky jump from facility to facility movement with the WASD keys.

I've tried cleaning out the config files in My Documents but that hasn't helped.

I guess it's some kind of mod conflict... But as there're no overrides I'm a bit confused as to what could be causing the problem. There's Instant Avenger Menus which affects XComHQPresentationLayer but I dunno which classes I should be looking for.
