It's just a prop for posing, I never even attempted to make it float because that wasn't a desirable feature. Weld a bunch of blue barrels under it or something.

Try and spawn it looking up in the air, the left side parts getting stuck are probably because they spawn underground if you spawn it on the floor normally.

The collision model is only really designed for posing with, just to let you grab the different parts of the model. I didn't really set it up with actually being driven on in mind.

Fantastic model, had a lot of fun using it for MOC battles. Took a long time to figure out how to spawn it, but worth it.

I don't know if there is a way to address these, but there is a couple problems with the model.

1. Left side exhaust vent keeps spazzing out and flipping the whole craft if the craft is not frozen in place.
2. Left propeller and left rudder spazz out and flip the whole craft if the craft is not frozen in place.
3. There is a considerable gap in between the landing ramp and the hull that made some of my armored vehicles get stuck.

Probably something I could fix on my end, but I'm not very savvy when it comes to this sort of thing.

I don't mean to be rude and criticize this model, as I'm sure it took a very long time to make it look this good. If anyone could help find a workaround it would be greatly appreciated.

Try using the physical properties tool. I think 'wood' floats, you just have to make sure to apply it to every 'part' of the ragdoll.

It's one of the Dear Esther maps. They were on the workshop a while ago, but they got taken down for some reason.

You run the tool and the game at the same time, press 'load file' on the tool (After setting it up for the right game), and then you can look through all the models currently loaded into the game's memory and export them.

If you want to get technical, these are extractors/exporters. Ripping is a different process that uses different tools.

Lime and Wraith are tools for extracting models from the Call of Duty games. Lime only works up to Ghosts but I believe Wraith works for all of them, including the more recent ones.

I use 3DS Max to edit the models and Photoshop to edit the textures, then VTFEdit to make the textures compatible with Source, and the compiling tools in the Garry's Mod folder to compile the models.

There's not many good guides out there and I'm not a good teacher, but hopefully that's of some use to you.

Go to the bottom left side of the spawn menu, you have to browse through the model folders to find it. I haven't used Garry's Mod for a little bit, so I can't remember the exact menu layout.

Look for "browse" or the "Garry's Mod" folder, then expand it, then look for a folder named "Kali". The model will be under "vehicles", then "mw3".

That's a feature on real LCACs, so yes, they did a good job. Look up a picture of one and they've got the same sign on the funnels.

The LCAC has a top speed of 40 knots (about 46mph or 74km/h). It can't be the speed limit for vehicles embarking or disembarking, so I really have no idea.

Look through the folders in the bottom left of the prop spawning menu for a folder named 'Kali', or just search for it using the search function.

They're not that big. I've ported models bigger than a Zubr and still had plenty of room for them.

I've got a Zubr extracted from Armored Warfare that I'm going to be porting eventually.

I'm not a coder and I don't have any interest in making any of my stuff work, I just make models for posing with. It'll probably float if you use the physical properties tool on it.
