Hello i'm searching for a mod, that remove certain types of vehicles in the depot. Just like the vanilla removes them after certain age, I want a mod that you select what vehicle and wagon to remove. This is because some type of locomotive are old but i want them on track but the lifespan will remove them and I don't want to, on the other hand, loc's that I played with I want them removed, so they don't fill my depot with old loc's and wagons.

It's been a really long time. How do I enable mods to work again? I can't seem to get any of them to work.

Yes it will affect all saves, so if you are playing multiple saves where you want different dates, you need to edit the file before loading each save

I think my question is more like this: If I change the year for one save game, and then I change it for another save game, does the seond change affect the first? Sorry for the poor wording. I didn't really know how to phrase the original question.
BigWolfChris  [author] 19 Apr, 2017 @ 8:43pm
Universal, so if you wish to alter it game to game, you need to change it before starting/loading saves
Super Shepherd 19 Apr, 2017 @ 5:14pm
@BigWolf

When changing the end year, is it a universal change or can I change it from game to game?

goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800\823399335

Right click mod.lua, open with Notepad of your choice, find the changeYear variable, and change to whatever year you would like. Save file (Ctrl-S if you're on windows), and it should be all done

@BigWolf

I apolgize if i'm becoming too much of a pain, but I honestly have no idea what i'm doing. Once I open Notepad, how do I get the program file in?
BigWolfChris  [author] 5 Apr, 2017 @ 5:11am
Personally I use notepad++
Super Shepherd 4 Apr, 2017 @ 9:25pm
@Bigwolf

Which program do you use?
BigWolfChris  [author] 4 Apr, 2017 @ 2:28am
@TheRedBar0n

change the variable called changeYear in the mod.lua, use any decent text editor to open, and edit it mate

Location of file is in description

My recommended End Date is 1920 for Europe

This is the year before Electric Locomotives are unlocked so you can keep using steam powered trains forever. This is also the year aircraft are unlocked.

For America, you can use 1918, but you will never be able to use aircraft.
Super Shepherd 2 Apr, 2017 @ 5:38pm
BigWolf, can you walk me through how to change the year the mod freezes the game? I am not skilled at software manipulation.
Ratos 1 Jan, 2017 @ 11:25am
It would be great, if you can add also the town buildings to the mod. Great work so far!
speedy6617 23 Dec, 2016 @ 11:53am
Great. Are you attempting to do the same for town buildings and stations too?
Multiplio 23 Dec, 2016 @ 2:13am
Agreed - Amazing mod, especially if you can freeze town building styles too!

I still don't understand how to get a mod to work via workshop. I've subscribed, but nothing appears to happen.
Butterbaum 22 Dec, 2016 @ 10:41am
i would love if taht would for for buildings i wish u good look maby u can do it thanks :)
Pdguru 22 Dec, 2016 @ 10:18am
This looks interesting. If you can get all game aspects to remain set so that you can play the whole game, for as long as you like, in a single era, that would be great.
