I think it's a beautiful ship. As far as heavy armor or PvP ability, those are things players can add/augment themselves. I don't know many designers who design ships strictly for PvP and ignore all aesthetic concerns, I certainly don't.

ok, a few points on the design of this ship that you've possibly not grasped.

1) we don't design for PvP. our ships might at best survive long enough to run away, but we'll think about going combat armour (we actually though we'd designed in two layers of armour everywhere.
2) the bridge at the top is exposed yes, it's a faux-bridge, just for show / peacetime.
3) the other seats are there for gunners. at maximum this ship can carry about 18 gunners, each can be assigned a position and a turret. If you've got the manpower, it's got the capacity - it's an RP thing
4) no gravity. yup, design decision. it's a combat vehicle, not something people spend any time on. you get in, get strapped down, and shoot things.

I would just like to re-iterate one thing - WE DON'T DESIGN FOR PVP. sorry for getting snarky, and i't not you personally, but we get the PvP complaints all the time. we're just not that way inclined ;)

Oh, and all those chairs, no gravity.

First, let me say that it looks good, if overly busy.

Too many issue to list in all, however, the following is a brief overview:
1) Mis-labelled as battleship/frigate/bruiser. You take this into any even light pvp server, and it will get taken apart in seconds. It's basically only 1 layer of reinforced steel.
2) Pilot in primary position is hopelessly exposed. Take a 22.5% half wedge of combat steel, reverse it, and put it in front of the cockpit. Do the same thing with the sloped combat armor on the sides of the cockpit.
3) Excessive additonal chair space. EVERYWHERE.
4) Critical components are not protected with suitable additional armor. The blast damage passing through blocks has been fixed, but multiple layers are needed on a combat vessel.

It has a lot of appeal, but it could be made much stronger. Make some changes, update it, and I'll take another look. With a bit of work, you could make this a small fighting ship that other players would warp away from.

Good point on why you left the medic station out. I also like the idea of the gunny seats; I had kept the 'multi-crew' idea in mind when I originally built the Deimos. Maybe someday, right? :)

As for a collab, absolutely!!!

@JRS86 Thanks! Also thanks for bringing the unfinished state of the false bridge to our attention; I'd completely forgotten about that when I "checked" the ship! :steamfacepalm:
The reason for not having a medic station is simple RP; if the hull is breached, the crew is lost anyway! The blue cockpits are gunnery consoles, I wanted one for each turret ;)

Again, totally appreciate your diligence as Quality Assurance Mole! :steamhappy:
I've been thinking... A collaboration might be quite interesting don't you think?

I would like to add some critique to that compliment; the top 'faux bridge', I feel you could do a bit better with that, though I do like the idea. Also, you seem to have a few nicely placed O2 stations, but what about a Medic station? I think you can easily tuck one of those away somewhere in the front of the ship, I'd think where all the blue pilot seats are in the midship command center (I'm not sure what else you'd refer to that room as?)

Really though, the only reason I even noticed these things is because I was literally hunting for every bit of detail in here :)

This is bad af. The Faust was always one of my faves from the get-go, the only exception being it handled like ass. This however, does not handle like ass! And that interior... all the little details tucked away everywhere, I have a thing or two I could learn from you guys!!! HOLY SHIT!
