Well, orbit as far as Space Engineers goes - so geostationary positions with up to 0.2 to 0.3 g I have tested and they work just fine. Since the station has full thruster covering and a gyro as well as a PB and timers it should be able to orbit but I don't know about the energy reserve if the thrusters are in constant use for position changes - it might be advisable to upgrade to reactor or more batteries then, but the core module intentionally left space for such upgrades!
