Thanks 😊
If I ever return to SE, the first thing I'd do is retrofit this exact ship with all the new stuff...
EshFrog 23 Dec, 2024 @ 9:06am
this thing still looks good, even by today's standards :selike:
LeonserGT  [author] 12 Apr, 2019 @ 4:33am
Up to date now with all possible issues fixed, same as all other ships in hornet series :P

Yeah, the color is very different, but in my opinion it helps to give a more "realistic" look to the ship.
Good thing that none of the mods are needed to use the ship, u can load it perfectly withoput them coz they are a flight seat, landing gear, food /water production machines and the shutters to close the hangars, sadly right now it's the only way of making a closed compact hangar :P
LeonserGT  [author] 3 Oct, 2017 @ 10:08am
Mods :(
And colour is too "rusty"...
However, I like it in general, also now I'm thinking about using that turret position in future - kinda reminds of an "sheathed" guns of, let's say, some generic sci-fi armed mech, like keeping weapons aiming up in "non-combat" mode :P

Here you go, Revenant R-730, the Hornet XL brother, i hope you like it :)

No problem, would like to see the result :)

Hi Leonser! This is a great build, i love it! Do you mind if i make my own version of this beautiful ship and i upload it giving you all the credit you deserve? :)
LeonserGT  [author] 20 Aug, 2017 @ 4:01am
@mirrorimage, ship updated. That was a puzzle to solve...
LeonserGT  [author] 16 May, 2017 @ 1:38pm
Damn, that is possibly meaning they're rebalancing them again... somehow. Anyway, still my fault - I knew game is in early access and will change one way or another and still made that pretty risky detail based on perfectly known thruster flames burning range, now it's changed and ruined my ship... Anyway, I will update next time I'll go in SE. It's my fav ship as well ;)

Forward ion thrusters (inside the wings) are damaging side thrusters (small ion + atmospheric) :(
[MGE]LeonserGT can you fix it please? I like this model, but now it unplayable.
VoXtheSergal 18 Jan, 2017 @ 5:32am
Gotta love the use of lime green. :>
corruptwing 6 Jan, 2017 @ 5:08am
Beautiful design, especially the cockpit.
DeathWizsh 29 Dec, 2016 @ 2:18am
Voxels, the ground :P (voxels is a name for the grid and contents the ground is made off)
Crippy 29 Dec, 2016 @ 1:24am
what do you mean outside the voxels i only just got the game so im a noob
LeonserGT  [author] 29 Dec, 2016 @ 12:35am
@Dizzy, don't paste it inside voxels - it'll become a station.
@Brickster22, ofc you can.
@Stormchaser91, I'm more interested in creating my own designs rather than replicating, sorry
Caldoric 28 Dec, 2016 @ 11:53pm
Seems to have a nice build, based on the pictures. So, seeing your particular craftsmanship, I was wondering... do you think you'd be able to replicate a certain ship from Starmade within the confines of Space Engineers? I was thinking of the Isanth V ships, (which the pirate AIs of Starmade would frequently use,) because those have some fun designs.
Brickster22 28 Dec, 2016 @ 7:21pm
Do you mind if I use your Jackal Buggy for a small/large grid exploation ship that I am making. I will give you credit for it of course.
Crippy 28 Dec, 2016 @ 6:51pm
its frozen the ship wont move
LeonserGT  [author] 28 Dec, 2016 @ 6:48am
Of course.
schaf 28 Dec, 2016 @ 5:17am
I think it is vanilla?
MrFox 27 Dec, 2016 @ 2:20pm
i have to say i love your ships! allways fun to show off and fly about!
What would you say if the best Attack Drone to be used as a Build and send off?
AKnight 27 Dec, 2016 @ 6:49am
Thanks!
LeonserGT  [author] 27 Dec, 2016 @ 6:17am
@arktrooperuk, competition in russian SE community to build exploration ship, I can give you a link, but it's worthless for anyone who don't speak russian :D
https://vk.com/wall-58753535_366266 <-- here it is
AKnight 27 Dec, 2016 @ 5:43am
Nice! What competition is this for?
Zooblesnoops 27 Dec, 2016 @ 5:28am
This ship really exemplifies what you can do with color, I think. Good one! :steamhappy:
PotentiallyDodgy 26 Dec, 2016 @ 11:43pm
can u make a ground attack/dropship version plz?
Gravemind 26 Dec, 2016 @ 10:46pm
Would be better if the hydrogen thrusters were on by default. Pasting it on a planet in-atmosphere *always* causes it to drift to the ground and crash before you can activate thrusters.

Also, the door placement personally sets my blood boiling. Come on.
ArtistX 26 Dec, 2016 @ 9:47pm
Nice Compact ship
J4R 26 Dec, 2016 @ 9:47am
Thanks ;)
LeonserGT  [author] 26 Dec, 2016 @ 8:56am
Those pre-made "Asteroid Field 2" by The Witch, you can find it on workshop or also integrated in EEM (and you're able to manually spawn them)
J4R 26 Dec, 2016 @ 7:24am
How did you get so many asteroids, did you spawn them all by hand?
Also, great ship, I used it and some others as inspiration for my Sparrow ;)
tyriael_soban 26 Dec, 2016 @ 12:02am
@Alastor, i think they should allow us to mount solar panels on slanted blocks personally, you'd be able to put them on the wings then ...
GRiM 25 Dec, 2016 @ 7:46pm
I love this color scheme. It goes well with the ships design. :D
Kam Solastor 25 Dec, 2016 @ 1:45pm
Looks like a very nice ship! Can't wait to build one in my survival game and try her out!
LeonserGT  [author] 25 Dec, 2016 @ 1:02am
Thanks! Actually, I wanted to make pure uranium-powered ship this time, but there few empty spaces appeared and batteries were just perfect thing to fill them :D
Kalina Fairhaven 24 Dec, 2016 @ 11:38pm
The Hornet Mk II and Hornet Mini have long been two of my favorite ships for SE and are my go-to ships for survival (especially with the respawn ship enhancement mod). This easily takes the cake from both of them. The interior feels more spacious, despite much more of the inner workins of the ship actually being tucked away from view. The fact that it uses every form of propulsion gives it such versitility. The fact that you also included an unused programing block pleases me grately because I love using the TIM system and would have hated to have tried to find a place to stick a programing block without effecting the apperance or integrity of the hull. My only complaint is the lack of solar panels, but it's a minor complaint in the long run, and an easy fix for the end user since two can be place don the top of the ship in the place of some of the cosmetic panels and windows without compromising style or ship integrity. Honestly I think this might be my new favorit exploration ship.
That Gaming Titan 23 Dec, 2016 @ 4:03pm
I dig the bridge window design!
