Hi. What is ID of this mod ?
sendjes 19 Jul, 2022 @ 2:30am
I just installed this on my server, and it works perfectly fine. Thanks for this.
EnragedN3wb  [author] 25 Jun, 2022 @ 9:03am
I haven't used mods in a while & no longer run a server myself, but I loaded it up on single player & it's still working fine there.

The way I made this mod it shouldn't be effected by almost anything except some stack mods that replace items improperly.
pedro_e36 25 Jun, 2022 @ 7:29am
does this mod still work ??? trying to find something better for jerky,
EnragedN3wb  [author] 20 Jul, 2021 @ 12:33pm
@KyubiMoeAhri
You may want to try crafting a new one to see if that helps. They are still working on my Rag server, so unless Gen2 does something really weird that effects preserving bins it should be working there too.

If you are using a stack mod they can sometimes effect preserving bins ability to craft jerky correctly also. I know Kaetokid's Stack Mod works fine with it, but have not tested others.

The engrams for jerky inside show as "unlearned" but they will start crafting anyway when you add the required resources:

Since the update to Gen 2 this mod doesn't work anymore :(
EnragedN3wb  [author] 1 Jul, 2021 @ 9:40am
@Papi
It should show up on your engram list as a normal learnable item. Once you learn it, you just craft in your player inventory like a normal preserving bin.

@Missybiatch
While I haven't tested it there myself, I don't see why not. It's not map specific or anything unless there are limitations to Gen2 I don't know about.
Missybiatch 1 Jul, 2021 @ 2:54am
does this work for gen2 map?
Papi Huevo Duro 30 Jun, 2021 @ 3:51pm
How can I craft this item once the mod is included in my single player game?
ODEN_Kz 7 Jun, 2021 @ 5:30am
where the server IP ???
Spartan 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:32pm
Perfect then, ty !
EnragedN3wb  [author] 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:21pm
It should take the same amount of resources per jerky as the vanilla preserving bin, just more at a time & every 10 minutes instead of every 36 minutes.
Spartan 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:15pm
The resource cost of craft Jerky is vanilla ? this mod seems interesting
EnragedN3wb  [author] 14 Dec, 2020 @ 11:35pm
Yes, it is still working as intended on my own server. We use it as a stepping stone between the normal Preserving Bin & the S+ Tek Stove. :)
imbad18 14 Dec, 2020 @ 9:15pm
does this mod work ? i cant place the better preserving pin
VerteNinja 25 Apr, 2018 @ 2:47am
Is it possible to edit the .ini so only 1 jerky per 10 minutes?
BrumeRose 31 Aug, 2017 @ 4:06pm
Hi, does it make iced water jar?
Wandering_Jester 12 Aug, 2017 @ 9:39pm
BTW we run all 4 avail ark servers :-) works perfect..
Wandering_Jester 12 Aug, 2017 @ 9:38pm

EnragedN3wb  [author] 17 Feb, 2017 @ 3:10pm
@skeet

Even without the address bar visible if you right click on the page anywhere in the steam app you have the option to "Copy Page URL"

@requiemfang

This mod doesn't change, or use any of the shield files.
requiemfang 16 Feb, 2017 @ 9:10am
Got a shield animation bug once I installed this mod wth is up with that?
skeet 8 Feb, 2017 @ 8:38am
The problem is most people do not have the url bar visible when using the steam application. By default the url is not visible unless they change that setting. That is why every mod has multiple people asking what the id number is and why most mod makers post the number in the description.
EnragedN3wb  [author] 3 Jan, 2017 @ 8:23pm
The ID number for any mod can always be found in the URL to the mod page. For example, in this case:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=824298758

824298758 would be the mod's ID number. :)
Hawkeyes 3 Jan, 2017 @ 11:09am
Mod Number?
EnragedN3wb  [author] 28 Dec, 2016 @ 11:48am
I hadn't even considered the primitive side of things, you make a good point. I'll double it to 48 slots soon™ =P
penguinsane 28 Dec, 2016 @ 9:30am
I think double capacity would be really helpful, if it's something you wanted to do. If they're better and more expensive as it is, it would make sense that they would hold more, that way it can cut down on some space. There aren't many decent preserving bin mods that are primitive-friendly, since most people just alter the fridges in game.
EnragedN3wb  [author] 28 Dec, 2016 @ 3:34am
It has 24 slots currently. In the dev kit it said the normal one had 12, but when I looked in game it had 24 & wiki says 24.

I haven't bothered to change it because I haven't really needed the extra space. If it's something people are interested in I could raise it to 32.
penguinsane 27 Dec, 2016 @ 10:17am
Does this have the same amount of slots as a normal preserving bin, or increased capacity?
EnragedN3wb  [author] 25 Dec, 2016 @ 7:59am
Thanks! Good to know others find it useful too. :)
Kirikou 24 Dec, 2016 @ 2:35pm
Thx a lot, great job.
EnragedN3wb  [author] 23 Dec, 2016 @ 10:58pm
ok I've tested with Pegi's Resource Stacks mod & it works fine, & due to the way I set it up it should work with any stack mod that works with the original preserving bin. Anything that alters jerky production rates may cause it to not work as intended.
EnragedN3wb  [author] 23 Dec, 2016 @ 10:05pm
I'm not 100% sure about stack mods, Ill need to do some testing. Better PVE at the very least may have unintended side-effects, as it says it alters jerky production rates too.
Kirikou 23 Dec, 2016 @ 9:51pm
Great, Is it work with stack mods like Better pve ?
