what about when you have "below desired minimum population" and the game just sends you a free colonist with no hostile faction chasing them?
finally, i wonder if it is possible to add one more detail... i'd like to be able to see if these guys are currently addicted to any drugs!!! i just accepted a guy, then later found out he was addicted to drugs and he had -35 mood from it.
"This is Susan. She likes long walks on the beach, cooking, shooting, and she's too smart for her own good. She's also being chased by space pirates. Will Jason choose to rescue her, or will he leave her to the mercy of the raiders?"
its all in how you look at it.
overall would like this so that i dont have to go about the long way of this accept or not. Remember your more or less the demi god on this game as you have almost complete control over the people. Of course you would know about this person that may or may not be joining you.
knowing more just reduces the risk of issues by a good and REASONABLE amount. Otherwise i wouldnt risk most of these rescues
Tina: "PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THESE PIRATES! I'm good at making sculptures and talking to prisoners!"
Steve: "Uh.. can you help us clean the base, and move things around that need to be moved?"
Tina: "EW! That stuff's groce! In fact, I'm totally incapable of doing menial gruntwork like that!"
Steve: "How about mining? Can you dig a tunnel? Can you send us a resume? I'd like to look it over before deciding whether or not we're going to take you on.
...Hello? Are you there?
...Hello?"
