Not really a fan of the rollercoasters, but loved the creepiness :D

I loved how you played with the dark and light areas...like a carnevel ride through the haunted house

I almost forgot to say that the player can escape the ride and get out early by using that portal device, so now you have a good reason to get rid of it.

...OK, credit where it's due: for a map that seemingly could've come straight out of the Puzzlemaker, that was another well-modified rollercoaster. The player should be afraid to strafe, even a little bit.

I should say, though, that I didn't need my portal device. Maybe you could start the player without it? Also, try adding a soundscape to enhance the eerie effect. I recommend portal_testchmb.track_train .

Ok this one was kinda freaky. But it was the freakiness I liked. Once again, very unique and fun! Excellent work!

zombies FREAK ME OUT!

Although I can apreciate the work that went into this one, I don't really enjoy most rollercoasters either, because played one of them, played them all (most of the time). Furthermore, because you know beforehand it's a rollercoaster, you know you won't die, so that feeling you describe is lost on me entirely a lot of the times. I quite heavily prefer maps that are like 'regular' portal 2 maps, but have rollercoaster elements to them, so you don't quite expect it as much when you play it.

Really enjoyed the ride!

I'm fine with people making these and playing these, it just makes me a little bit angry that spots on the first page are going to rollercoasters (go play rollercoaster tycoon, or go to an amusement park, or something else instead) when they could be going to real maps!

No, you missunderstand my comment. It's not that they can't solve puzzles. It's more that they (this is just why I create and play rollercoasters) just don't WANT to solve a puzzle. Just have fun through a - can't describe that feeling - a feeling which is created by rollercoasters. E.g. you'll never find a puzzle where you fall and fall and feel like "I'm dying!" but get caught in the last second. And that is just FUN.

So said in easy words: Other people and me play rollercoasters for fun, not for thinking "Hum... What to do here? Put that block on the switch and... ****" or s.th. like that. If rollercoasters are no fun for you, don't play them and tolerate without saying bad words that other people like rollercoasters.

That was fun! The people were really creepy! XD Awesome use of the lasers!!

Cause there are enough players who like it to just enjoy a flight through a map, so there's no need of solving a puzzle which idea you might know of other puzzles. Noone is a moron just for playing rollercoasters - they're kind of fun and YOU, Alexander Bell, should try to enjoy them or to see the good thing in them (even if you can't see it at the moment).

Rollercoaster maps suck!!! Can someone explain why morons like to build and play these things?

You need the Hammer editor for adding other paintings, models and objects (and something else, e.g. the portals). You'll find him in the "Portal 2 Authoring Tools". But you can NOT find them in the PeTI maps.

Realy Nice! I loved the bit with the maniquins, how did you do that. I havn't been able to see how to use painting, vines or recage. Is there another folder, or do I have to buy somthing?
