I dont think this works anymore. Cant get it to appear in my game

@ mnidjm's Heya, was wondering if it was ok to use the collected portrait assets you have on the United SciFi Races Mod, just trying to clean things up with it and give as many of the species over on that mod the best look possible.

2 things about the newest version. I don't see a default empire listed like the mod says there should be. When I was creating an empire and naming the ruler I hit the random name thing and noticed every few times I hit the name would be blank. Is there something wrong with the namelist?

The developer / author hasn't reacted in well over a year and a halve. I would just go ahead and do it. Just make sure to put a disclaimer referring to this mod and you'll be safe. Probably.

Hey there, did you have any problems getting the portrait Forced Spawned into the AI? Essentially, this is the only portrait mod that I've seen that successfully Forced Spawns an empire with a custom portrait. I am attempting to figure out the bugs in other portrait-adding mods and was wondering if you had any insight.FYI this mod is wonderful and I haven't had any problems with it.

If you guys have any code fixes I'm up for reviewing them. I'm actually getting an issue with the clothing isnt generating. I'm curious if its an issue in my mod or a conflicting mod. anyone else seeing this?

Thanks for updating. Just a quick fix that I normally do myself. Sometimes I get blank name generations for male and female. So I have gone in and removed some lines of code. Not sure if this counts as a fix (or even if it happens for anyone else) but its really easy to do :-)

Everything should be updated now. I got rid of the presscripted empire since it seems to be causing some issues. I'll maybe add it back if I feel confident that the issues are fixed

For some reason the Race dosnt show up. Anyone has an idea ?

@Winneh, I may know a fix that might help you. I haven't looked at your link but.. This mod comes with a preprepared empire / faction right? Get rid of it. Go into the folder and remove the prescripted empire.

That does mean you need to create the prothean empire ingame step by step. Also, you need to verify you only are subscribed to one mod. You need to manually unsubscribe to the mods as well if you don't know. Because I had a vaguely similar problem. i had uninstalled all mods (or so I thought) and I still had emblems and such that shouldn't have been there.

I checked my subscribed mods and removed the ones in question.

Did you try to start the game without any mods installed at all? Also, I think I may be able to help you, so feel free to add me if you want. I feel like I can't help you very easisy here.

Well, since all stellaris stuff is 60% off i went ahead and got all dlc´s, wiped everything stellaris related from my drives (game folder, paradox in documents etc) to get a fresh, clean install, subscribed to your mod (and only yours) and put the error.log into pastebin https://pastebin.com/uDXM24A5 so here it is, i hope it helps.

I'm not able to replicate the error. I just remade the species_class file so see if that fixed it for you.

In that case, I would play it safe and unsubscribe. Keep an eye on this thread because I will try it as well. if I get the same messages then something is wrong. Or alternatively, you could take a look in the mod file itself and see if you can install the mod manually. In other words, copy and paste the animated files into the right place.

Also, remove the preprepared race and create your own with the images and such if you follow me.

I just uninstalled the whole game, wiped everything off my hard drive (including savegames, settings etc), downloaded the whole thing and installed it again (100% clean). Only subbed+activated this mod, same thing - tons of error messages in the error.log file. So unless I am missing some required DLC (Apocalypse, Leviathan, Synthetics, Horizon are installed), this mod (sadly) does not seem to work with 2.0.

@Winneh Try using using a clean install, which means no mods whatsoever. See if that gives you any errors. Then if that works without a problem, try using just and nothing 'but' this mod. See what that does. Then if this does give problems, try unsubscribing and the subscribing again so it's a clean file.

Shouldn't this be Imperial rather than Dictatorship? Aside from being described as an empire, Jarvic's flashbacks clearly show him as the undesputed leader of the Coming Empire rather than some warlord (indeed he seemed to be more like Commander Sheperd rather than a high ranking military offical) calling the shots.

the only things this mod is missing is a proper city type and a shipset ... maybe you ask the creators of the asari civilisation mod for help
