@Crusader Vanguard
Never talked to you before, but I had some conversions with your modder collegue CaptainX3 recently... Like in his case I also wish you the best, life can offer to become happy in real life; thanks for upgrading Stellaris till this point for everyone to become a much better experience!
Best wishes and hope to see some of your amazing work again one day in future! :aod_salute:

@Unknown924 - Thank you for reporting that. I do not keep up with the updates of these mods much anymore, and thus any minor changes like this escape my notice unless someone tells me. I have updated all the mods affected by this, so hopefully it should work for you now.
Unknown924 19 Jan, 2018 @ 7:45pm
Encountered a problem getting ISB doomsday weapons to unlock while playing a machine empire.
It looks like that you have "tech_sapient_ai" as one of the prerequisites for tech_titan_doomsday_weapons_01 in both NSC-ISB patches, resulting in a progression block for machine empires. The base ISB mods currently have only "tech_titan_weapon_module_01" as a prerequisite.
Thanks for the time and effort you have put into modding Stellaris.

Awesome!
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 1 Oct, 2017 @ 6:11pm
@crymson - Fixed. Thanks for reporting that.
crymson 30 Sep, 2017 @ 8:36pm
Crusader the country types file in the Compatibility patch is lacking the Debris = yes tag in the default country entry, this is stopping debris from spawning in any games played with the Comp patch.

@EVERYONE - Mod has been updated and should work for both NSC V7 and ISB Doomsday. Let me know if I missed anything.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 25 Sep, 2017 @ 9:07am
@Lt_Col_Insane - Yes, like I said a few posts down. The reason is the AI have coding for the Frigate in this patch which is not in NSC V7, so the game doesn't know how to handle it and crashes. I have to update this patch, which I will get to the moment I can update Playable Guardians Standalone.
Lt_Col_Insane 25 Sep, 2017 @ 7:20am
@Crusader Vanguard i just nailed down my game crashes to this mod XD kept crashing just before it would load the main menu lol
VS-lockon 25 Sep, 2017 @ 7:16am
i wish i could read batter bc i did not know i did not need these mods
NeutralQuartz 25 Sep, 2017 @ 3:26am
TLDR: Im stupid
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 24 Sep, 2017 @ 8:37pm
@6J0ker9 - Yes, I know, I uploaded NSC V7. LOL

Unfortunately this means these patches will crash the game with NSC 7.0. I cannot fix this tonight.
NeutralQuartz 24 Sep, 2017 @ 8:26pm
The NSC v.7 update is live, as a heads up.
Skyswimsky 22 Sep, 2017 @ 11:22am
Ah I see. So if I use ISB Doomsday+NSC I need this patch and if I use ISB Balance+NSC I need your other mod, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1085064499 this one? Well, once they are updated. Thanks for your time and your awesome work! Have a nice day.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 22 Sep, 2017 @ 11:08am
@Skyswimsky - This patch is only allow NSC and ISB Doomsday to work together as well as possible. If you use ISB Balance, even if you use ISB Doomsday too, you need the NSC-ISB Balance patch. Outside of that, any other patches that are required for anything else related to NSC or ISB are up to you. But if you're solely looking for a patch to make sure NSC and ISB work together, this is all you need.
Skyswimsky 22 Sep, 2017 @ 10:58am
Having come back to Stellaris with the story pack I am double checking my mods and everything. Sad to see Alpha Mod being gone. Anyways if I am only using all of IBS and the New Ship Classes mod is this the only compability patch I need? Because, looking at your workshop, you seem to have a bunch of different comp. patches around for the same mods? I apologize if that question is dumb.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 22 Sep, 2017 @ 10:40am
@6J0ker9 - Yes, of course. I just need to wait for NSC and ISB to update. ISB just did a "hotfix" update (although another update will probably come with more "fixes") and NSC is about to release Version 7, so I'm waiting on those before updating, so I only have to do this once.
NeutralQuartz 22 Sep, 2017 @ 10:21am
Will this mod get an update?
Kayto Shields 24 Aug, 2017 @ 11:48pm
Thank You
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 24 Aug, 2017 @ 7:06am
@Corrin, Princess of Nohr - This is an internal issue within the game's hard coding that cannot be fixed by mod authors. This glitch is common in all ship class mods that use other mod's components, like Folk's Power Stations mod. There is a solution though, found at the bottom of this page on the NSC Website (I would also recommend you read the entire thing): http://www.nscmod.com/mod-faqs/
Kayto Shields 24 Aug, 2017 @ 6:43am
I can't build the Dreadnought or the SuperDreadnought. Theres always a Component im Missing
Kherbyne 13 Aug, 2017 @ 3:47pm
No trust me i looked at the stats, at max with the best possible weapons it had 200 damage output with a dread well over 500-700, less than half the hp
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 13 Aug, 2017 @ 6:19am
@Kherbyne - Have you looked at any statistics? HP, Shields, weaponry bonuses are all very high on the Leviathan. The lack weaponry is a counterbalance. Unless Ankain changed this in a recent update I'm not aware of, the Superdreadnought is less than the Leviathan.
Kherbyne 12 Aug, 2017 @ 12:00pm
The leviathan has 3 slots, 1 xl 1 l 1 m
Kherbyne 12 Aug, 2017 @ 12:00pm
You realize the leviathan is trash compared to a super dread right?
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 4 Aug, 2017 @ 2:58pm
@Johnny Rainbow - Your scientists are dreaming. That's what they do. Otherwise, nothing would ever happen. LOL
Words and Philosophy 4 Aug, 2017 @ 2:50pm
ah, that make a little more sense.

I was wondering where my scientists got the idea of a titan when the best ships were frigates.

Crusader Vanguard  [author] 4 Aug, 2017 @ 12:09pm
@Johnny Rainbow - There are many Titan technologies, and the "chain" starts wherever Ankain meant it to start, I don't study ISB quite that closely. The only tech I altered are the last ones, the ones that allow you to actually get the ships. Note that the description says "final ISB ship techs", not the entire series/chain of techs. Just the final tech should be locked behind the Superdreadnought.
Words and Philosophy 4 Aug, 2017 @ 7:36am
yeah, this mod doesn't really do what its supposed to. the titan chain started with spaceport II researched, not superdreadnought.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 22 Jul, 2017 @ 12:18pm
@Maxie Rothar - I'm not sure what to tell you. This patch doesn't touch the ship size file (it uses NSC 6.0's, as ISB Doomsday doesn't touch it last time I checked) and this patch doesn't touch section templates (that's all NSC and it's addons).

Perhaps you should try reseting all the mods involved, including this patch?
Wrecker013 22 Jul, 2017 @ 11:09am
At the current moment in time with NSC 6.0, it appears that this compatibility patch does not, at least on my version of Stellaris with only those two mods and their required compatibility patch, properly update the ship size file, such that the frontier outpost no longer becomes designable and vanlla classes lose the increased mineral cost (to balance spam).
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 1:36pm
@EVERYONE - CRITICAL MOD UPDATE!

I have split my patches to support ISB Balance and ISB Doomsday separately. This particular patch now only services ISB Doomdsay. While it can technically support ISB Balance, it doesn't support it fully or well , thus the split. There is a link to the new ISB Balance patch in the description above.
Nailz 3 Jul, 2017 @ 5:21pm
I was afraid that would probably be the case. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I'm extremely new to modding for stellaris but am willing to learn more. My only mod so far was one to make Novus Orbis play nice with ISB Balance and NSC, which was really just a country type file merge :P
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 5:04pm
@Nailz - Yeah, this will be more difficult than I thought. The XL weaponry is really the only ones ISB Balance modifies (a lot), and that basically does make the 3rd level XL weaponry in NSC useless. The problem is this patch is used for both ISB Balance & Doomsday, and if I adjust the values for Balance, then if someone installs only Doomsday... well, those weapons are suddenly extremely overpowered. So, that would suggest I need to split the mod, which would be hell on me (I would need 2 more mods and have every single one of my subscribers realize this).

I need to think on this.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 3:16pm
@Nailz - Thank you, I'll look into those files and do my best to restore some balance, although it might be tomorrow or Wednesday or something before I can do anything definitive.
Nailz 3 Jul, 2017 @ 11:20am
Alright after a couple of passes I found that both mods overwrite the following vanilla files: 00_strike_craft.txt and 00_ship_sizes. In addition the new weapon tiers added by NSC dont fall into balance with ISB Balance though no overwrites exist there. Neither overwrites defines but both provide conflicting data in files they add. I think thats it or was all I could find anyway.
