Not that I'm aware of as of yet. I'll keep an eye out. On the plus side, from what I gather, you can at least still uses Doomsday and NSC together without personal issue. It just prevents the ai's from using the same parts.
Partytor 21 Mar, 2018 @ 7:19am
Is there another mod for 2.0 that does the same as this one now that @Crusader Vanguard has stopped working on it?
Cthulhu The 3rd 11 Mar, 2018 @ 10:52pm
@Suncrusher I can confirm that, at least for me, it doesn't work. All the ships go black and don't work.Game crashes before the game finishes loading the map.
Oss|Suncrusher 8 Mar, 2018 @ 4:38pm
Does this work with 2.0? or not so much?
Shadoon 21 Feb, 2018 @ 7:21am
Never mind. I found your mod-patch for RS respectivly
Shadoon 21 Feb, 2018 @ 7:19am
It says: "You MUST have one of the NSC mods: Main or Streamlined."

Is it possible to have JUST "Realistic Ships" and not the NSC at all?
Cronyx 5 Dec, 2017 @ 4:25pm
I never could get it to work doing all those things, but I had no problems getting it to work with the Streamlined version of that mod instead of the full version. *shrug*
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 2 Dec, 2017 @ 4:31pm
@Cronyx - My guess is you have either a corrupted core game, in which case you need to verify files, you have a corrupted mod, in which case you need to reset the mod (NSC has instructions), or you missed a mod that causes a conflict.

I just tested your setup (plus a UI mod) and it works fine for me.
Cronyx 2 Dec, 2017 @ 11:55am
I'm using the following mods:

This mod, of course.
(-New Ship Classes & More v7.0-)
Realistic Ships
ISBS: Doomsday Weapons & Ships

And nothing else. When I go to create a new race or edit an existing one, as soon as I get to the ship appearance tab, I get a hard CTD. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
gax 21 Oct, 2017 @ 1:56pm
Thank You. Btw, the strike cruiser tech finally turned up. :)
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 21 Oct, 2017 @ 12:53pm
@gax - No, I forgot to rearrange the two ship classes after releasing NSC V7. Order has been updated in the description above.

You do not need both Master patches, which is most likely where your issue is. If you use ISB Balance, use the Balance patch only. If you use Doomsday only, use this patch. If you use both, use the Balance patch.
gax 21 Oct, 2017 @ 5:36am
Btw., i already got the light carrier, wich supposedly is to come after strike and battle cruiser.
Did i f/u my game by wrong research order?
gax 21 Oct, 2017 @ 5:28am
I´m using both this master patch together with the CP: NSC - RS - ISB Balance Master Patch and i dont see to get higher than Battlecruiser. When i cheated to get all techs, i got all the ships, but when i tried for one hour wih the finish research cheat, i didnt get any tech leading to attack cruiuser or battleship.
Is there a techtree showing the prerequesite tech(so i know what to research) or is my setup wrong?
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 25 Sep, 2017 @ 5:41pm
@EVERYONE - Mod has been updated and should be functioning for all mods involved. Please let me know if I missed anything.
N2Marine 23 Sep, 2017 @ 3:34pm
Thanks
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 23 Sep, 2017 @ 2:46pm
@N2Marine - Right now? I don't know. When NSC 7.0 is released tomorrow, it will definately need an update, so please be patient. I have to work on getting NSC out first, then fixing all the compatibility patches. I'll make a "comment announcement" when that update happens.
N2Marine 23 Sep, 2017 @ 2:21pm
Dose this still need to be updated or is it good?
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 15 Sep, 2017 @ 10:23am
@Lucullo - Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I don't pay a lot of attention to RS or ISB coding anymore, so I almost completely rely on subscribers to bring such things to my attention.

I agree with your assessment, and I will look into it and divide up the bonuses so they come after the ship class itself. NSC actually has this problem with the Battleship Assembly Yard, as the Battleship is one tech behind it, but overwriting vanilla files is something we actively try to avoid.

I'm about to start updating these patches for NSC 7.0 and hopefully the upcoming 1.8 patch, so your timing is really good. LOL. RS is also about to get Titans (after Patch 1.8) and I did suggest to Tal that he should separate out those 3 classes, because right now the Battleship with all 3 together is rather useless. So hopefully I'll catch that one too.
Lucullo 15 Sep, 2017 @ 5:43am
Of course the problem is present in the ISB Balance master patch too ...
Lucullo 15 Sep, 2017 @ 2:31am
Hello, I just want to signal a minor issue : RS changes the BS assembly yard spaceport module to also improve DN and HDN, however it splits it in a different module for each HDN tech and makes each one dependent on the corresponding tech. The assembly yard tech remains researcheable with just spaceport 6 tech.
With the patch active HDN techs came much later, so if you research the BS assembly yard tech asap you cannot use the module straight away, for just the BS.
In my view, to make things coherent, it would be better to have a basic BS assembly yard module (bonuses for BS and DN), available with just its tech, and the advanced dedicate HDN-only modules that become availabe with the corresponding HDN tech. In this way you will be required to consume an additional module slot, but this is coherent with the special nature of the HDNs.
I would try to make a modmod myself but I'm not enough confident with modding to be able to override other mods changes.
Eidolan 21 Jul, 2017 @ 8:04pm
I know this now, like I said the update to this mod is what pointed out the mistake I had made. Maybe the wording on the ISB page was less clear then it is now or I just spazed out, but I had thought the dooms day was optional bonus pack or something that added to ISB balance. I have now removed the dooms day mod from my load list and just use ISB balance.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 5:06pm
@Eidolan - There actually is zero reason to run both at the same time. I have never understood this. ISB Balance has everything ISB Doomsday has, except it also includes the "balancing" changes that Ankain finds necessary. So there really is no reason (that I have found) to use ISB Doomsday if you have ISB Balance.
Eidolan 21 Jul, 2017 @ 4:04pm
Um, think your update pointed out something I had been missing for a while, I never noticed ISB had dooms day stuff built into it, always thought it was just a "add on" to ISB, so I've been running both ISB(balance) and ISB(doomsday) at the same time.... opps.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 1:36pm
@EVERYONE - CRITICAL MOD UPDATE!

I have split my patches to support ISB Balance and ISB Doomsday separately. This particular patch now only services ISB Doomdsay. While it can technically support ISB Balance, it doesn't support it fully or well , thus the split. There is a link to the new ISB Balance patch in the description above.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 19 Jun, 2017 @ 7:34am
@spectre199 - As far as I know, yes. The only difference between 1.6.2 and 1.7.2 should be the multiplayer system overhaul, plus a few UI changes to accomidate said changes. So, I see no reason at all this shouldn't work, as long as you continue to follow the guidelines in the description above.
spectre199 19 Jun, 2017 @ 3:18am
is this safe to use with 1.7.2 beta
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 18 Jun, 2017 @ 7:48am
@Hawk Firebird - You need to read the description carefully. You CANNOT run all 5 mods at the same time.

In the description, I note that all 5 mods are all POSSIBLE variations of mods that COULD be required. At most, you can run 4 of the 5 required mods. You cannot run both NSC Main and Streamlined at the same time, but you require one of them to run. Both ISB mods can be run together, but you don't need to, you really just need one or the other. You will need Realistic Ships no matter what.
hawk firebird 17 Jun, 2017 @ 11:35pm
not sure what i am duing wrong but i cant ues this mod since the game well crash on the loading screen when it reaches 100% an i have all the 5 required mods mention for it to work, so its not that
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 29 May, 2017 @ 6:29pm
@Eidolan - I'm not entirely sure how the SGM mod works, however, assuming it works by ship class, then it should play okay, except with the RS ships. If you can convince the author to add support for the RS ship classes, then you should have no problems.
Eidolan 29 May, 2017 @ 12:29am
Anyone have any insight on if SGM Battle Survivors plays well this this patch?

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=815339161&searchtext=SGM+Battle+Survivors

Just thought I'd ask because on SGM's page he says each ship class needed to be added one at a time, he says NSC is built in ready to go but I was not sure if via this master patch if that built in compatabilty might be changed / broken as this is loading after NSC ect.
tsaieric2000 28 May, 2017 @ 3:26pm
No worries. I will see what I can do myself. I will post here when I need help then. Thanks.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 28 May, 2017 @ 3:17pm
@tsaieric2000 - I appriciate you coming to me requesting such a patch, but I don't want to go making random patches all the time, it's exhuastive work that would force me to keep track of the status and development of too many mods. My "direct" focus is NSC since I've a dev there, and ISB and RS are in the same "boat house", but as far as AlphaMod goes I don't use it, therefore, my understand of what it tries to do and how it should work it's good for making patches.

My suggestion is you learn how to mod files yourself. This isn't as difficult as you may think. The auras file isn't too difficult, you just need to learn what this version of Alphamod did to the file and what RS does.

I can help you out with that if you would like, but I won't be making a patch for two mods where I somewhat use one and I haven't heard of before. My time here modding is very limited, so I don't wnat to do something then not mantain it.
tsaieric2000 28 May, 2017 @ 2:56pm
For further clarification, the support cruiser design can be genereated, but you can't upgrade it due to "missing component". I have talked with the creator of the RS mod and figured it out that it is because the "AlphaMod: The Fleet" modified "00_utilities_auras.txt" in the vanilla files.
tsaieric2000 28 May, 2017 @ 2:15pm
@Crusader Vanguard:
Sorry, should have been clearer that I wasn't referring to NSC. "AlphaMod: The Fleet" has a compatibility issue with Realistic Ship that causes the support cruiser to be not workable in the game.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 28 May, 2017 @ 10:07am
@tsaieric2000 - I don't know what exactly it is you want me to do. It's completely compatible with all Ship Class mods as far as I can tell, in fact, it says it's compatible with NSC in the description. What exactly do you want me to make "compatible"?
tsaieric2000 27 May, 2017 @ 8:09pm
Hi,
I know this might not be the right place to ask, but just wondering if it would be possible for you to add compatibility for "Alphamod: The Fleet". It's another AlphaMod add-on. Thank you.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 25 May, 2017 @ 6:55pm
Tal Ara'nh agreed to separate out the hull sizes from his localisation file, therefore, I have now updated both this patch and the NSC-RS one to give localisation differentication of the NSC/RS ship classes.
Alguerath 16 May, 2017 @ 2:06pm
Thank you for your efforts.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 16 May, 2017 @ 2:00pm
@Alguerath @Nekomata - Okay, I overhaulled the Patches (this one and the NSC-RS one) to make this work. Tal Ara'nh changed a lot in order to "clean up" the RS files, which means I had to adapt, which I now have, and I have confirmed that RS Heavy Dreadnoughts are working now with my latest update.

The one issue I couldn't fix immediately is the localisation one, where the RS and NSC ships don't actually "have" the "NSC" or "RS" in front of the ship class name. Tal Ara'nh combined all his localisation into one file, which means I would have to overwrite ALL RS localisation to fix it. I would prefer to avoid this if at all possible, as it would require me to update every minor change for localisation, which is a pain. I've contacted Tal Ara'nh about this, and as soon as I know his response, I'll update the mod accordingly.
Cat-Lunatic 15 May, 2017 @ 6:31am
Nope, Its not fixed, Crusader. None of the shipsets have the heavy dreadnought, especially not the Vanilla shipsets.
Alguerath 14 May, 2017 @ 7:41pm
Still crashing.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 11:43am
@Alguerath - That should have been fixed with my Banks update. I just did another fixing all issues with the RS Heavy Dreadnought. I hope. LOL
Alguerath 12 May, 2017 @ 11:55am
It seems that this mod is causing CTDs, deactivated it and everything runs normal
Red1 6 May, 2017 @ 1:19pm
Suprised that you didn't list the Extra Ship Components mod, I think this mod would dovetail well with that one.
christophe.poth 27 Apr, 2017 @ 4:10pm
Hi CRUSADER VANGUARD , and thanks again for this awesom compat patch
Just a question , i my game it seems that the battlecruiser NSC and RS are not identified by their origin anymore! So i've got two "Battlecruisers" type but can't kwow anymore wich is NSC or RS !
Is it a bug , a miss in the coding ? or a problem on my end ? other ship classes are identified NSC or RS as intended...
can you help ?

Thank you very much

Regards.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 20 Apr, 2017 @ 12:10pm
@TKCPrime - That's due to vanilla Stellaris and Paradox, not any mod of this patch. While Nessa did provide NSC with new animations, that's just for the vanilla shipsets. Nessa would be the one to speak to about adding animations where they are missing. Asari Civilization mod, or on the NSC Discord server.
TKCPrime 20 Apr, 2017 @ 3:14am
I noticed that the pirate battleships don't have explosion animation. They just disappear when destroyed.
Crusader Vanguard  [author] 18 Apr, 2017 @ 1:43pm
@landrasil - I wish I could take credit for that, wanted that to be fixed forever, but no, this doesn't touch that. Perhaps, *maybe*, Paradox got their act together and improved it? LOL
Iandrasil 18 Apr, 2017 @ 1:38pm
also does this patch fix or adjust autocomplete by any chances? It's not giving me bad setups anymore when I autocomplete
Dahak 16 Apr, 2017 @ 3:27pm
Drat, I was hoping someone else had had this issue and knew of a fix. Oh well.
