Already out, check the update link. Was originally set to the unstable build. Now its set for the B19 by default.

Update is out on a seperate mod so those still on B18 won't have their games broken. Let me know if you can see it or not. Also @Ralathar44 I totally agree with you, this should be an option in the vanilla game.

Having a quick look at the code I've notice B19 has made some changes that won't allow for a simple edit on the "About" file. So I'm planning on looking at the code this weekend and updating it B19.

In regards to bugs mentioned in earlier comments, this was originally coded for vanilla rimworld. Any bugs you encounter are likely from other mods you are using. Check your othermods that alter the hunting feature. I'm simply an updater and not the original creator. Also note that Combat Extended has this feature as well. I do not recommend having both installed. This or CE.

For those who have missed my earlier comment. This works with A16, A17 and B18. The only thing that needs updating was the version number as Rimworld is no longer doing any dramatic code changes. This is now officially updated to B18.

I was browsing the Hardcore SK Combat Extended and it looks like Combat Extended has this option, look for it in mod options.

i am playing on b18 and my person got frozen in a melee fight mode and couldn't do any other actions, couldn't even drop gear

This mod doesnt seem to work when running with Hardcore Sk, even with on bottom(or on top) of the load order, my colonists simply refuse to hunt with their melee weapons.Any way to fix this?

Just a suggestion: a boar spear, to help you keep your distance from those animals that keep trying to kill you until they finally die.
(It's a 2.5-meter spear with a crossbar about eight decimeters behind the head, so the boar or whatever cannot work its way up the spear to the person who speared him!)

this doesnt seem to work for me. i have them set to hunt. i have melle weapons equiped. but they will not hunt targets

It should as you're using a melee weapon in combat.

Passive animals try to avoid you initially however they can fight back depending on what type of animal it is, but this is due to the core game mechanics rather than this mod.

@ mheido, when you say "enemy", are you referring to raiders ? If so there's a mode on each colonist that can determine if they flee/fight/do nothing when hostiles are nearby and this mod focuses on the hunting of animals.
