@Cmrd Knightmarez, you might have your brightness settings too high or are using another visual mod that conflicts. The mod was designed assuming the default look of the game, with calibrated brightness so that light spells and night eyes aren't redundant.

khajit is too bright, can it be adjusted? it white-outs my screen
hellie 23 Sep, 2018 @ 7:44pm

@Lycanian, Unfortunately I don't own Skyrim SE and even if I did, there's no guarantee I would get back into modding for it. :/ I do appreciate your interest and that so many people enjoyed the mod.
LykEl 28 Jan, 2017 @ 8:39pm
can u make it for skyrim se
Flaming 13 Aug, 2016 @ 1:24pm
That's okay. It's really great but the night eye was sort of annoying so I don't use this anymore.
Crache  [author] 13 Aug, 2016 @ 1:06am
@Flaming127: it's outside the scope of this mod to give werewolves the ability to toggle it and is not included in order to preserve maximum compatibility.
Flaming 12 Aug, 2016 @ 10:38pm
Is there a way to turn the werewolf night eye off? If there isn't please add like a mod config or something.
si7h7e 2 Dec, 2015 @ 3:08pm
ok i will see what happens when i use both:steamhappy:
Crache  [author] 2 Dec, 2015 @ 12:38pm
@Corgisaurus-REX: I'm not sure, you probably end up with 2 different night eyes as they are different spells.
si7h7e 2 Dec, 2015 @ 11:51am
what if you're a khajit and a vampire?
fedr1x 25 Jun, 2015 @ 2:17pm
it crashed my game
Crache  [author] 29 Jan, 2015 @ 11:38am
@diacamus: it's always active when you're in werewolf form. you can't toggle it, because that was outside the scope of this mod without breaking compatability with other mods.
Crache  [author] 29 Jan, 2015 @ 11:37am
@trihough: that's not what i did, but you are right that once you find something in the files you can change things. mods are a way to release changes so that other people can use those changes without having to create them themselves. this is a mod. i created it for myself, because i wanted it to be this way, then shared it. there were many more subtleties and lots of testing involved in tweaking this mod to be the way that it is.
fallingoddess 29 Jan, 2015 @ 9:06am
all you did is increase the sat of the light souces you can do that in program files of skyrim just find the spell and increase the number
diacamus 25 Jan, 2015 @ 8:16pm
or shall i say how do you access it, it;s not on the skill tree or on the beast's skill
diacamus 25 Jan, 2015 @ 5:58pm
how do you find it
Crache  [author] 24 Jan, 2015 @ 10:35pm
@diacamus: yes
diacamus 24 Jan, 2015 @ 10:10pm
Does werewolf have a night eye?
Saze 5 Jan, 2015 @ 5:33am
Unfortunately, this don't work for your mod ;(
Crache  [author] 5 Jan, 2015 @ 2:01am
@pazzpszowa: You can try http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/view/8322 , but I have not personally used that site for anything.
Saze 4 Jan, 2015 @ 6:48pm
Hi! Can you add a .zip archive to download, because i use Mod Organizer, and i can't use mod from workshop. Or maybe you can write a file list to do this manually by myself.
frznghost 8 Oct, 2014 @ 5:55pm
I'm going to give this a whirl. I'm using a mod that makes nighttime and caves much darker AND a mod that doubles the radius of torches. I'll let you know what happens.
Nohbodie 6 Sep, 2014 @ 3:46pm
im a hybrid of all three will i get all three
Crache  [author] 28 Nov, 2013 @ 6:32pm
The screenshots were all taken at night and the mod was tweaked primarily for low light usage, so if you're using it during the day out in the sun it would appear pretty blown out like in your screenshot. Think of it like trying to use night vision goggles during the day, it's much more sensitive to the light available and it would be kind of blinding.
Thorracks Oakenspiel 28 Nov, 2013 @ 5:08pm
Hi. I really like how the white night eye looks in the screenshot, but when I use it in game, the brightness is so high that I can hardly see anything. I previously used a mod called "Night Eye Overhaul", and I thought maybe the problem was caused by me switching to this one without doing a clean save, but I tried a clean save and it still has this problem. I made sure there are no other night-eye mods in my load order. My character is a Khajiit, and not a vampire or werewolf. Do you have any advice as to why this problem might be occuring? Thanks. screenshot: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=198958925

runing tales of lycanthropy , and bloodmoon riseing with moonlit tales , And it seems that night eye is not working with one of these mods . though it might be all of the above , figured id allow you to know
Spyanide 23 Mar, 2013 @ 1:40pm
have dawnguard, encountering issue when consuming a corpse makes a werewolf perk available: This is accompanied by a short visual effect (peripheral screen blur) which overrides the nighteye. Also running wolf senses - a werewolf mod, and suspect issue is due to dawnguard overriding the auto nighteye. Thought you should be made aware anyway.
Ryaffus 14 Feb, 2013 @ 4:21pm
im a werewolf but it wouldnt allow me the red night eye, nature works fine but i wanted red :(
Crache  [author] 2 Feb, 2013 @ 1:42am
mindfire, unfortunately I'm unlikely to make any alternate versions or updates to this mod. It is interesting that you prefer to keep the sound though. Sorry if it bothers you too much.
mindfire12 1 Feb, 2013 @ 9:49pm
Can you put up a version that keeps the sound effect?
Tyrique 18 Jan, 2013 @ 12:39pm
Could you add me please so i can speak to you easier
Crache  [author] 18 Jan, 2013 @ 12:37pm
That is likely an issue caused by one of your other mods or a problem that started with the release of Dawnguard that nobody has mentioned yet. I don't own Dawnguard, so I haven't tested it.
Tyrique 18 Jan, 2013 @ 12:34pm
Okay, but when i go beast form nothing happens just normal screen
Crache  [author] 18 Jan, 2013 @ 12:15pm
Biscuit, it does not provide that, no. When you are in werewolf form it will just always be on, which is how it is by default. It only changes the visual effect of it.
Tyrique 17 Jan, 2013 @ 1:54pm
So does this mod allow you to turn night eye on and off during beast form? im puzzled
AdApt* 21 Nov, 2012 @ 9:48pm
Thanks

+1
Indysax 19 Nov, 2012 @ 9:23am
I understand a werewolf being unable to "turn off" his ability to see in the dark, but is there a way to add a toggled night-eye to a werewolf character they could use while in human form? It could even still use the red coloring and blur effect, so it would be kind of like tapping into your bestial abilities.
Mouse 31 Oct, 2012 @ 11:17am
This makes everything super bright when using RCRN Realistic Colors and Realistic Nights (not sure about other color/night mods) just letting you know.
ddpaule 23 Oct, 2012 @ 4:24pm
you know if this will work on those guys that bugged their vampire/werewolf thingy.. just dont wanna bug my character
Oli 22 Oct, 2012 @ 6:08am
@ethanrey2012 Heh, never thought about that!
Locksoli 15 Oct, 2012 @ 12:59pm
i don't really like the werewolf night eye settings. tr doing a different color. its way to red. can't see clearly
Crache  [author] 17 Sep, 2012 @ 11:40am
H.A.D.O.P.I.: It sounds like your brightness settings may already be turned up either in-game, on your display or perhaps you're using a 3rd party mod like ENB. The brightness of Tri Night Eye is adjusted for the default brightness of stock Skyrim.
Crache  [author] 17 Sep, 2012 @ 11:33am
If you're a vampire khajit, then you'll probably have 2 separate night eye abilities. They have different names. So I guess at that point you can just decide which you prefer to use. :)
Flutters 16 Sep, 2012 @ 10:55am
What if you're a vampire khajit?
Shroeneubeul 22 Aug, 2012 @ 10:21am
With my Khajiit, the night vision is too white... I mean that it's like i've a f*cking sun atop my head and I can see nothing... Just me or ?
Crache  [author] 13 Aug, 2012 @ 10:59am
bre8jo/foobear: I explained the reason for blue in an older comment somewhere here, which people can disagree with. It primarily came out of the pursuit of mastering the aesthetic and just seemed like perfection.

There is the concern of blue deoxygenated blood, though carotid arteries only carry oxygenated (red) blood and that's likely what a vampire would sink into. Can't blame some people for feeling the color choice is unintuitive, but blue still seemed significantly more fitting.

Sorry if it's confusing. :)
Lampshade 13 Aug, 2012 @ 4:36am
i second bre8jo, vampires should be red.
aronorth 9 Aug, 2012 @ 2:21pm
@bre8jo What does that have anything to do with vampires?
is it because blood is red, so you want the vision red? That makes no sence.
It makes more sence for werewolfs, since they would usually be in a real frenzy, would be enraged and their body would be engorged with blood from the adrenaline; causeing it to pump faster and stronger.
Jannus 21 Jul, 2012 @ 10:47am
vampires should have red vision because of it searching for blood to feed on
