Heyo, I tried but couldn't :( The way the horde music works is that it takes random short samples of drums, beats, etc. and mixes them up. I replaced them all with snippets from Rip & Tear but it can never really sound like the original. Sorry ;-;

Well, you can subscribe to all the parts, they're meant to work together. If you want to individually remove some music and replace it with your own, you can follow the steps here: https://pastebin.com/q8PNak0A . Will need to tinker around a bit, but I'm sure you can make it work :)

Okay, so I have Doom Slayer as Francis, Vergil as Louis, Master Chief as Bill, Zoey in Warhammer 40k armour (couldn't find anything more fitting to make her fit into this team, unless you think that "Secret Agent Zoey" is better for this), Furries as Common Infected and Smoker, Big the Cat as Boomer, Omochao as Jockey, Shrek as Charger, Amy.exe as Witch, Cloacker as Hunter and Senator Armstrong as Tank with "Standing here I realise" theme (I wasn't able to find anything fitting for Spitter for now, but I might add something for her later too), so the only thing that's missing to make this thing more badass would be some good music, but too bad this mod needs 8-9 parts to work, so idk what to choose. Left 4 Dead 2 is my favourite Steam game, but I might need to say goodbye to it soon, so I wanna do it properly, before moving on to Doom 2016 to find out if I'm really a Doomfan. I wanna do a video about it, but I think I might need help on how to do it properly. Any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply. Hmm, this is quite weird... Unfortunately, I don't have the audio files with me right now and am juggling work commitments :( I'll be more than happy to show you how to do it yourself tho..

I've tried re-enabling them in the in-game addons menu as you suggested in the comments a few pages back however they still sound the same. I feel like the only track that sounds perfect in volume is the one that plays when a Tank spawns.

For example the tank music is perfect in volume but the common infected horde music and the main menu music are a lot quieter

Nope mayte, im sorry but i noticed some songs are louder/quieter than others. and the main menu music is much more quieter than the default l4d2 theme. If you could please maybe raise the volume of all the tracks i would love this mod even more. I cant keep game volume to high since some sfx is really loud, doesnt matter how much i have my windows volume set to since i would have to still lower game volume a bit and it would sound the same. I tried loudness equalization but it doesnt work too well.

Heya Dark Kill, while developing this mod, I discovered that when horde music plays, it actually plays multiple 5 second-ish audio snippets (e.g. drums, guitar, violin) simultaneously and on a loop, so I had to follow suit with the DOOM music. It sounds a bit chaotic I know, but I was hoping that would add to the theme ;D

Why the horde music plays all songs at the same time? Its the only problem i have with this mod

ThIs is perfect, love the new tone to the game

Gives you more adrenaline and tension throughout the campaign, my only concern is with the tank music, it sounds kinda same to other music IMO and it didn't bring more "caution" to me to face a tank (other music kinda already METAL enough to the points that the tank music felt less METAL haha) so I replaced them with music from DOOM Eternal instead.

Huh. You've installed all of the parts, right? I made sure to match the volumes of the originals, so this shouldn't be happening. In fact, it should be a liiiiitle bit louder. Maybe untick and re-tick the mods and check if the volumes in the main menu differ?

I hear it pretty low, it's totally overshadowed by the sounds of the game. I looked for different ways to make it sound louder but 100% is as if it were at 30% of the volume of vanilla music.
An extremely good addon, but it's a shame I can't hear it properly.

@Alexander King Get a copy of those songs in .wav format, and use them to overwrite the jukebox music in the Left 4 Dead 2 music folder. Make sure that they're the exact same length and bitrate (use Audacity for this)!
