Thank you for still using it though.
And as for if Dramin and I's mod here is compatable with Repentance... Probably? Like I said it's just replacing sprite sheets so I doubt any issues will arise, maybe champion versions of the re-sprited enemies will be jank.
The only sprite I'd ever consider using this mod for is the Gurgle, honestly. Imo it's the best sprite we made for the mod-
I mean you could have both of them together, but one will probably overide the other with some sprites.
Besides, there are better re-sprite mods out there now. Maybe I'll go ahead and re-sprite some sprites some of the other packs didn't re-sprite in the future, dunno.
As of now though... Not really interested in continuing this.
Either the monsters will look like how they would with the 16-bit mod, or they'll look like how they look in this mod without the 16-bit effect.
And in case you were going to ask as well, I don't really plan on making them compatible or something like that. Kinda lost interest in this and there are plenty of better-made alt. monster mods now.
Thank you for asking, and I wish you luck.
And honestly, I think the problem is with the leech familiar, as it mimics a common enemy type (charger) that chases you at multiple stages of the game. (Lil' haunt is the other chasing familiar has a bit of the same issue, but as the enemy type is fairly rare, and you can often stand and shoot against them)
It would be a different mod idea, (redesigned familiars to make them more distinct)
Also, color wise, dark blue and blackish read the same to me.
... I guess I could just figure out a way to make familiars look distinct from their enemy counterparts
The difference between the item and this is the amount of teeth, and the color. It should really confuse you too much.
Maybe a follow-up to make the leech and drowned charger look different.
Can you perhaps do a re-sprite of Dank globlin and holy leech, they are just simple recolored enimies
Well, while I[m trying to make it look as if a Frowning Gaper took Ipecac, I'm also trying to make it look like an original enemy. I don't want it to look similiar to how it normally looked, thus why there's no blood around the eys and why the teeth are green. Teeth aren't normally green anyway. And it's not a brain, it's throw-up.
Drowned Hive - Okay, I must say, this one of the better sprites. I really like the leeches coming out of the head and all that (I'll assume you took Antibirth as inspiration), but the water coming out of the eyes and mouth looks unnatural and one-shaded (only one layer of shading, or no shading at all) You could look forward to make it a bit more natural.
Gurgle - This is really damn good. But you might want to change the shading a bit.
Poison Mind, Mushroom, Red Host, and BCF - I like those, but since they're mostly just colour alterations, I'm just gonna go and say they look 'okay'. Also, Red Host head's has a different colour than its guts, and it annoys me. But overall, okay.
Rest of them - Most of the other sprites are pretty good, so I don't have anything to rant about. Good job.
