@Iizvullok Hey there, I've noticed that you use z_special_spawn_interval and z_director_special_spawn_delay in this and subsequent difficulties, but these cvars do nothing. You would need to use MutationOptions instead. Furthermore, the DirectorOptions key SpecialLimit doesn't exist, you probably wanted to use cm_MaxSpecials . If you want more help, add and dm me. ;)

I think witches are affected by non headshot resistance. The other specials all seem to have their own. And the tank does not care at all. :p Tanks only have way more hp.

I have not tested it. But i highly doubt it will cause problems. But i am not sure. This addon mostly changes some zombie related cvars. I doubt that improved AI does that too.

Would this mod conflict with a special infected AI mod? The mod doesn't make any statistical changes to the infected, it only improves their AI.

If you play this mutation seriously, that might happen. :p The higher the difficulty, the more the bugs will freak you out. And if you are still playing the same chapter after 100+ restarts, you probably just want to jump out of a window.

You can play nightmare and fiendish in realism mode.

I think a better comparison to put between the jump is nightmare difficulty itself. The nightmare difficulty is just a smidge above the realism expert, no?
Even with the restrictions realism gives?
If not, you may want to look at the statistics between each, and create a curve between each difficulty, like a set of stairs made of the curves of the different game difficulties.

My idea was to make the nightmare difficulty just slightly easier and create a difficulty between the slightly easier nightmare and fiendish. I do not want to make both mutations too easy, but at the same time i am not really happy about how quickly the difficulty increases. Nightmare realism solo is a crazy increase from expert realism solo, while the difficulty increases rather slowly in the vanilla difficulty levels.

If you make the impossible mode, you'll have created a true trilogy. I think these combined with a 8 player co-op would work.
Then this might actually be attemptable
You'd have to find a mod for 8 health bars tho

this is me from the other comment, and whatever I say is true!

Ive grabbed some AI mods, etc. But look, I gotten prob more then 20 AI, and in the final mission with this mod.. they never made it. and if you want proof ill broadcast it. Totally not saying any of this mod is bad! It was awesome of what i came across!

I could do that. But fiendish realism solo is already so hard, that it is barely possible to survive with wallhack, bhop script and timescale.

What about taking it to the next step again?

* You die instantly when you get hit by any zombies or friendly fire.
* More than 3 witches and tanks can spawn.
* No items or weapons. You'll only have a pistol.
* Tank has 20000 health.
* Infected are even faster than a witch on easy/normal/advanced/expert.
* The same 4 specials can be alive at the same time.
* 9 specials at the same time.
* 60 common infected at the same time. And they are always chasing you once you leave the safe area.
* Boomers vomit kills you instantly.
*The health of even Common Infected is increased to a Charger's health, the specials having more.

Okay, that's the Impossible difficulty now.
And i bet NO ONE can win in this difficulty.
Except for cheaters. And hackers.

It is because there are no servers that have this mutation installed. You can play it when you host the game. And if you want others to join, they need this addon too.

@專業 中國 Yes that is my mod. But it is buggy and unbalanced. I tried to fix it but had problems uploading it.
@Ryan I never played united we stand. I don't know that. :D I might try it later. But first I wanted to play a little bit more on fiendish. I think its slightly too hard. When playing solo it is really close to be absolutely impossible. And of course that is not what I want. I want it to be hard. Very hard. But not impossible. And yes i noticed the comment but decided to answer later. But then I forgot about it. Sry. :P

by the way, did you ever notice my other comment on nightmare?
I had asked if maybe you could also make nightmare work with "united we stand co-op".
that mutation also adjusts difficulty/balance because it has all 8 survivors together.
so I'd be curious, and it'd be very interesting, to see these combined together.
mostly how you would apply it though, I think that mutation only increases spawn rates mostly.
probably also increases tank damage, I haven't really done the research on it yet.
feel like each difficulty has become one step higher though (example, normal feels like advanced).

The server had probably some scripts. Usually there should be only one zombie of each kind.

That's weird. How is there being 2 infected of the same type alive at the same time a change? I swear I've seen two smokers, two hunters, etc before even on Normal and Advanced.
