(Thank you so much for this mod. It's one of three I consider essential.)
how to fix?
@Sylphix True, the only thing that I can think would make sense for space is water filtration system, with a closed loop, but that would be a lot of work xd
My hope would be for water tanks (potable and black) and a water reclamation system (similar to the filter) that would clean and move the water from black tanks to potable over time.
Water is certainly an issue in space (and, as mentioned before, asteroids. This is even more of an issue as water could theoretically be stored in ship tanks for a short time. But this certainly wouldn't be a permanent solution on asteroid bases!)
What I could imagine are sonic showers linked to a waste recycling system via standard pipes, which could produce fertile soil and toxic waste packs (or simply the classic biosolids).
If Dubwise comes up with a high-tech alternative to the terrestial water wells, I'll be happy to use that too.
For some reason, I was under the impression that he might have withdrawn from modding, and that this beloved mod would have reached its 'maintenance state'.
I can't express how happy I am that this seems to be not the case.
Therefore, I am much more optimistic when I ask:
Are there any plans for a gravship and asteroids update for this mod?
(I know, I know. I am hardly the first to bring this up. But, as I said, DBH is such an essential addition to the game that I simply cannot imagine playing without it.
Dubwise, you are a hero! :)
it appears to be a problem with constructing anything in corners, not sure if that was always a thing
I'm glad the lite mod is exactly as it is. I can't imagine playing Rimworld without dubs anymore, but I bet there will be at least SOME issues at launch with the ships and full mode and even if it works watertowers just don't look like something that should be built on the ship.
Especially with Odyssey it's a robust implementation util the full mode is err space-proof.
But frankly, that is quite the champagne problem and it should be stated: this mod in it's entirety is amazing and the work you put in is appreciated a lot.
